In the striker position they already have Higuan and Benzema, both of them are world-class players
On the right-wing they have CR7 who is indispensable on the left they have Angel Di Maria who did really well for them last season considering it was his first season in Spain

His agent wants him to go to Real, not necessarily him and we are still favourites. Neymar is their backup incase the Aguero deal doesn't go through, I highly doubt they'd sign both.

Yeah it's apparently been that way for some time. I was told last week he would join in the next 3 weeks, it's obvious the deal has been agreed for a couple of weeks, but things needed finalising.
Like I said in the last post, this deal isn't done yet, he could well be a Chelsea player by the end of the window. I think a manager like Hiddink will certainly give Sturridge chances, I'm sure of that. And yes, they are similar, but they will most likely play on the opposite sides to each other:

I'm sure Sturridge will be more rotational, but when they play together I'm sure that would work. Hopefully though Guus will be a lot more rotational then we'll see everyone getting games, especially Sturridge, Kakuta, McEachran and van Aanholt.
The thing is as it looks like Hiddink will be appointed he will not sell Malouda and Zhirkov. He likes them both and Malouda's best form in a Chelsea shirt started as soon as Hiddink came in so i would be tempted to keep him. Zhirkov was signed by Hiddink and i think maybe he might keep hold of him. Both of them play wide left which is where Neymar would play if we signed him. Its all abit murky at the moment and hopefully in the next 2 weeks things will start to finalise.

I currently would love 2 players, i feel we are more than sorted for defence. For me the signings of Luka Modric and Romulu Lukaku would be a sensational summer for Chelsea.
Wes Sneijder/Javier Pastore/Modric either one of em will be good enough for me
plus the thing is Jacko that Malouda and Zhirkov are 2 sound players, but when u look at Neymar, u think this kid has the potential to be one of the greats if he can sort his attitude, i think we need to get our hands on Europe's most exciting prospect because i think that under the right guidance, Neymar can have the world as his oyster at Chelsea and become a Legend while Malouda and Zhirkov just dont have that potential according to me or that sort of natural ability

Sensible feeling. All this hype about Neymar, but the Brazillian league is not what it used to be. Although saying this, the Belgian league is probably of worse standard, so Lukaku will be a major risk too I'd say, but probably cost less money. Re Modric, would cost the bomb.
High interest in all three players, that's for sure. Chelsea will have to work hard to get 'em .

Either way i cant b bothered how much money we pay, its Roman's money and he probably has plans to make sure Chelsea comply with the FFP rules knowing the top businessman that he is, it really should not be the headache of the fans, all these financial matters

I agree with u mate but if there is so much interest in Neymar from top European clubs who all have scouts who can determine a players potential better than any of us, their must be something about that kid
Ofcourse I will be happy if Chelsea sign Neymar but if he ends up going else where I will still be happy that Chelsea didnt end up paying 40+ mil for him and Ride the walrus you are right Lukaku will also be a risk but as you said his price is cheaper and players of his type tend to do better in the premier league then players of Neymars type.
Your correct, obviously there is somthing about the lad but adding everything up i.e cost/weight/position/maturaty/language then i have to say Lukaku comes out on top.

Have to agree mate, it may take Neymar a year or two to get used to the physicality of the PL and at Chelsea you dont get that as we know.
Remember Arjen Robben, sensational talent and a proper match winner. Why did the fans turn against him??? Because of his play acting and Neymar does this so much, he is also still a little light weight which can be a problem especially in the PL.

I disagree with the people who want Modric. I just don't think he's the sort of playmaker we need TBH.
I disagree with u mate, Modric is agile and has those great little darting runs into the opposition half to open up defences, he has a good eye for the killer pass, a good passing range and and he is quick on his feet

We do miss Robben but we let him go because the fans got annoyed with him diving and because he kept getting injurys. At times the fans got annoyed with Drogba when he was at his worst too lets not forget until he changed his ways after that Barca game. He admitted he changed because of his kids and the fans.
either way I will be happy if we sign him but not too unhappy if we dont unless he wings his way into another English Club and in 5 seasons becomes one of the best players in the world
