I wish we could win the Asia Cup.

I seem to forget that Arsenal threw our thirteen league titles away when we moved to the Emirates. Our trophy cabinet is defo empty.

Although Alcaraz, if you want to celebrate someone like John Terry then fair doos! It's your life.

Enjoy the win Chelsea fans, expecting you to be back challenging for the title next season now. What a season it looks to be next year. United, City, Chelsea and possibly Arsenal and Spurs in the hunt.

It was actually Subtle who posted the pics if thats what you are referring to

Another question, how many clubs have won everything in the past 8 years? Surely we are in a select few.

I'm pretty sure that Liverpool are the only team that have won it in the last years without also winning the league and their country's cup.

It should be Milan, Lpool, United, Barca, Porto and Milan.

Actually, when was the last time Milan won the coppa? I wanna say 03/04 but it might have been 02/03 in which case the answer is Lpool and Milan.

Why do I know this?

Yep it was me. Mainly because it's a bit of a **** move to come into the thread of a team and be like "your captain disgusts me, I dont want to see him lift the trophy" when we've just won the biggest trophy in our history. Well I say a bit...

It seems to be more important in Spain and Italy than it is here.

I'll be hoping Chelsea win for the good of British and European football.

All the quality is in Europe though. What you get is some ridiculous match against a team no one has heard of. Whatever I guess, would be good to win it in any case

Ok.

Firstly, I congratulated your side on winning the trophy. John Terry shouldn't have lifted the trophy, it's a joke. He sickens me, he's a Chelsea player, this is the Chelsea thread.

Problem?

Not criticizing you lol.. Just wanted to point out his mistake thats all

I eagerly await someone claiming that the fact that we beat 4 attacking sides, including 2 of the best in the world, by using solid defending, fast breaks and packing the middle of the park makes us:
-unfair winners
-anti footballers
-lucky

At the end of the day, you can say 9/10, you would lose playing like that. Everyone has said it to me for weeks. Well, we did it 6 times in a row. Nothing will ever take that away from us, and no matter how you try and twist it, if you can consistently deny world class opponents then you deserve to win. TBH, I think we were one of the best teams in it, something that cost Bayern the game tonight with Ribery and Robben showboating and Gomez left largely isolated.

And what about Mikel's performance tonight. Absolutely brilliant once again. I wanna hear what those haters have to say about him now :)

Would it be ok for me to come into the Liverpool thread and say that Luiz Suarez is one of the foulest human beings I have ever seen play football? You have plenty of places to moan about Terry, why do it here?

where else should I post about my despise of Terry being allowed to lift the trophy through bullshit ruling from UEFA?

The Chelsea vs Bayern Thread? In the thread of your fellow Arsenal fans who I'm sure would be happy to agree?

I'm sorry that you find JT lifting a trophy so sickening. If I was you, I would invest in a bucket because you're going to be seeing a lot more of it.

As I said earlier, Bayerns front 3 dont seem to justify the hype surrounding them. They are constantly at odds with one another. Robben is so selfish he makes Daniel Sturridge look like a 'pass first' attacker. Gomez was handled efficiently by Cahill and Luiz.

Also special mention to Cahill. What a season it has been for him. From playing for a club embroiled in a relegation battle to winning the Champions League. He proved all those doubters wrong who said he could not play at a top club. Excellent player

Mikel was good. Did his job by laying off simple passes to his team-mates. Turned off once or twice but that can be said for other players as well

Its games like these though where heroes are born and legends are made. However much I praise everyone else, it was Drogba's night
