Chelsea would be stupid not to start Sturridge next season. I think Anelka will leave which will free up the right side of attack for Sturridge.

Yeah I really want Malouda and Anelka to leave. I like them both and in the 2009/10 season they were both great. This season though they just slow down the play; Anelka drops really deep and plays little one-twos just inside the oppositions half without making any movement. And Malouda just messes around with the ball just out side the oppositions box and then gets the ball inside the box and shoots from a stupid angle when there's no way he'll score.

If Hiddink gets the job then Malouda will stay i think but he keeps going on about how he wants to finish his career at Chelsea but i wouldnt be too upset if we sold him this summer. As for Anelka he has been one of our best signings but i think its the time to get him off the wage book and cash in on him.

I personally think that Kalou is quite overrated, big time. Sturridge would have scored at least 15 times last season if he was selected instead of Kalou. On the other hand, its true that Kalou has scored very important goals as a substitute.. Anyway, if someone puts a gun to my head and tells me to choose 3 to stay, I would choose Torres Drogba and Sturridge(probably as a 5th choice striker), sell Kalou Anelka respectively, and buy a player like Hulk, which is capable of blowing the wings up. as simple as that.

Exactly, if anything, he's underrated. A decent impact sub tbh. Not sure why he gets so much stick.

Kalou is massive for Chelsea, yes he frustrates at times but its hard to get players who will wait for their chance and actually be great off the bench. Remember Utd had Solsjaer (sp) and he was massive for them.

Does this end the modric transfer then?

Not at all, Boas likes to play the Barca way and that means we need a playmaker i.e Modric/Sneijder.

portuguese media say that villas-boas will have a wage of €5M/year

BlueHeart moutinho was our playmaker, guarin is a box-to-box player

Ehh... I'd call moutinho a box to box too, Bellushi can be considered as the playmaker, and guarin a holding midfielder, but with more pass and shot quality than fernando, I think Villas boas might want to take someone with him ;)

Who'd you guys prefer hidink or boas?

AVB as manager and Hiddink as DoF.. Hiddink advises AVB as he is more experienced than him, and that would be the perfect combination...

Villas-Boas with Hiddink DoF. Hiddink is too old now despite being an amazing manager, but with Villas-Boas he's just 33! If Roman sticks with him then he could be around for a while! But with Hiddink as DoF he can help him out and stop him from making mistakes that may occur because of his lack of experience.
