Either way someones in big trouble, Chelsea for being petty or Clattenburg for well, racism..

Shame really. thre's been some great football today, but once again it's not going to be the backpage headlines. Just unsavoury ones.

I'm still trying to get over that first half earlier.

In ref's defense, he may have been utterly ****, but it was also really dynamic game with a lot of hard challenges, something was bound to go wrong sooner or later. If you check his positioning these decisions may have looked correct from where he was standing.

Also, Scholes scored a handball vs. Poland in 1999 so i reserve the right to contest all decisions when we play England , forever and ever until the end of time.

If anything we can take more heart from this game than them. Absolutely battered them after the first 20, was the best I've seen us going forward this season (Until Torres red). Spirited after we went down to 9 men and did well to limit them to only 1 goal.

And it's pointless trying to justify the fact United got the rub of the green by bringing up previous matches (and also intentionally not including a number of instances that went in United's favour).

If I was a United fan I'd be embarrassed to be overjoyed with anything other than getting the 3 points tonight.

Take more heart? You were at home, not the away team. And your own inability to defend transitions should not be ignored. Like United, yes you can attack, but can you defend just as well? No seems to be the answer. This has been shown up already in in Europe.

Both teams have almost identical flaws.

This was pointed out as an area to exploit before the game, and it was exploited repeatedly.

Don't think anybody can deny Chelsea are serious title contenders after this match. We played well and Manchester United played very well too. Referee decisions aside, it was a great and passionate game. Also I am ****** at Torres. He has let everyone down repeatedly despite all the support. Hopefully Sturridge grabs his chance to play centre. Still Chelsea are top of the table so its not all bad

I am still livid with the ref mind, ruined a great game. Both sides with a lot to do on the defensive side when the emotions fade.

Meh does not really matter, you win some decisions and lose some. That's how it is. Hopefully Chelsea get back on track next week with a win

Why should they, when things went Chelsea's way in previous games and they won, did they feel embarrassed to win? I doubt it. Rather than pointless its a pretty salient fact.

I didn't say they should. I said I would be if I was a Utd fan. Some of your fans outside the stadium were going on like you destroyed us, when you lot were extremely lucky to come away with a win.

It is quite pointless to bring up previous matches. According to some people's logic in here, it's ok for the ref to make mistakes because it evens it up from last time? Do me a favour. So if Liverpool score an offside goal next weekend it's ok?

If people are so fixated with the past, you fail to remember Welbeck's penalty last season, the two offside goals at OT, Evra's tackle on Ramires that should've been a pen in the UCL, and Macheda's handball. Just off the top of my head. Not that any of that matters now.

Our defensive frailties are well documented and I knew we'd struggle from the start. So I don't know what you're trying to prove. Was just saying we can take heart from coming back from two behind, and going on to look like we could win it. Just like United felt last season when you came back to 3-3?

Not a case of proving anything. great we got back in, but we shouldn't have let ourselves get 3-0 down in the first place. But maybe that's just me. I look at the positives and negatives. Today was almost a reverse started brilliantly fell apart. I'd think a side making repeatedly making the same mistakes (applies to both clubs) should be learning from them.

Di Matteo looked a little frosty with Torres

As he should be.. Torres has constantly let the fans and the club down despite their overwhelming support. Hopefully Sturridge proves he as good as he says he is or I am half hoping the club lets Torres go in January. Really ****** with Nando....

So , do we say Roman has a curse when it comes to buying "best striker in the world" or shall we wait till they get Falcao and he breaks a leg coming out of plane on Heathrow.

Llorente is runnin down his contract...

Plus Chelsea are missing a reliable goalscorer anyways... Man Utd have RVP, City have 2-3 as well, Bayern have Gomez and Barcelona and Real Madrid have Ronaldo/Messi. Would not be surprised if we go for someone like Remy in January. I am quite certain the papers will go on about Cavani/Falcao.

Good on Bobby D for saying what he thinks.
