Sir Alex Ferguson has made it clear to Howard Webb that he will have to fight for his first team place.

I assume you either missed or deliberately ignored the fact that Luiz should have had a penalty again him, Torres could have been sent off for his high boot, and that the Ivanovic decision was right...

He was **** on both sides.

So does anyone know if Mark Clattenburg actually used a racial remark? Just strikes me as odd.
Why would a professional that has a mic on him the whole time where 3 or more people can hear him say everything, say something racist? Even with the recent events regarding racist comments, it just seems that Chelsea are clutching at straws.
But on the flip side, why would Chelsea make a formal complaint if it wasn't true...

On the flipside, you could ask why would John Terry abuse Ferdinand when there are about 40 cameras in the ground?

Chelsea as a club are very zero tolerance, this comes partly down from trying to remove themselves historically as a club who used to have a history of NF fans, they were almost the poster boy club for the national front. I dont think that they would make such an complaint if they didnt feel they had a strong right to be aggrieved. So I'm not going to say they are clutching at straws here. There are lots of witnesses on both sides so we'll just have to see. But people can say stupid things in the heat of the moment, ask Terry.

As he should be.. Torres has constantly let the fans and the club down despite their overwhelming support. Hopefully Sturridge proves he as good as he says he is or I am half hoping the club lets Torres go in January. Really ****** with Nando....

First you say ".... despite their overwhelming support" (made me chuckle already..) and then you say "Really ****** with Nando"

You know, it;s funny how every sane Liverpool fan still loves Torres and yet not a single Chelsea fan can appreciate him? He hasn't been all bollocks this season as has been suggested, and I'm pretty sure that wasn't a red card considering the second yellow. You can't be ****** with a player for being wrongly sent off, even though he has been good this season.

Liverpool will take him back with open arms.. Come back Fernando!

Your are obviously clueless about the situation. And by the way, players dont like dropping down from the top placed club on the table to a mid-table club. Bummer

Heat of the moment I guess as Mike. pointed out. Lets see what happens

Meh the situation is not all bad. We are still top of the table and Man Utd may drop points next weekend against Arsenal. Also game proves that we can compete against the best of teams and we are serious contenders for the title. Hopefully we have some more luck going for us in the gruelling winter period.

Also while I understand the anger of many Chelsea fans lets not forget that we too have had decisions go our way in the past. You win some and you lose some so lets just stop complaining about it and accept that this is just going to keep taking place unless technology comes into place. Which thanks to FIFA will not so meh

Unless I missed something, we still don't know what context Terry used the words in. If he was just asking Ferdinand if he thought he had said the words, like he says he did, he wouldn't be worried about the camera's around him.

I suppose he could of said it in the heat of the moment, but what exactly could he be mad enough about to say something racist? Getting abuse from the fans? Then he needs to take a break and realize that that's part of being a ref. Getting abuse from the players? Report them to the FA since the FA wants respect for the Refs.

Since we haven't heard what was said we dont know. People can say things in the heat of the moment. So I'm not sure where reporting them comes in, he could simply have lost his cool. we dont know. Its very dangerous to say Chelsea are clutching at straw when we know none of the facts.

Thank you Alcaraz,You've restored my faith in human sanity.I have been dealing with absolute idiots when it has come to referees decisions but you're probably thr 2nd chelsea fan who has spoken sensibly...

"Situation" What situation are you talking about? Is there a situation? You know this is like that trend on twitter #blamesuarez

Torres was wrongly sent off by a referee who booked him due to wanting to eradicate diving from the game.. #blametorres

Chelsea have been in super form, but lost this match due to joke match officials #blametorres

Llorente always seemed a little crude to me, i think someone like Soldado would fit great.

Torres has scored the odd goal here and there but lets face it the Chelsea team have been carrying him over matches to see if he will return to the old player, but it will never happen. Chelsea would benefit so much with a better front man then Torres, such as Llorente/Falcao/Ba etc etc.

I don't get the 'heat of the moment' argument. I'm not even a professional doing my job, and I've never racially abused someone who disagreed with me.

Agreed. Any Chelsea fan who feels like saying the refs are against them has a short memory, and doesn't remember Drogba's offside goal a couple years back which gave them a 2-1 lead and put Chelsea top.

Llorente always seemed a little crude to me, i think someone like Soldado would fit great.

Llorente's wonderful, but Soldado would do great too. Perhaps the latter is somewhat more suited to Chelsea's playstyle at the moment.

Situation is different when your playing infront of 30,000 QPR fans who are probably constantly abusing you in a fiery derby where your losing 1-0 and have 2 players sent off. Oh and not to mention the opposing player provokes you by making fun of a rather sensitive issue when you cheated on your family with your best friends wife causing you to lose the England captaincy

Something Chelsea as a club are still struggling to understand with 'nando.
Maybe it's culture within the club, I dunno, but as far as my memory goes back of watching EPL and the Zola era, it still seems: Pass = "Here, you have the ball. Do something/Have fun."
Even under early Mourinho when 1-touch ebbed and flowed it still seemed the same.

Whereas when with Rafapool he was more likely to be involved in the build up.

Doesn't seem to work for Fernando, alternatively, My-Little-Pony Drogba thrived on it.
Could be that's just Chelsea's way, the big power striker.
Tore Andre, Jimmy Floyd, Big Hernan when he was allowed on the pitch, and to a degree Eidur and Anelka.
Would explain Shevchenko's flop, and similar possible failure of a Llorente/Soldado.
More likely to have luck with a Bafetimbi Gomis, Wagner Love or a Pablo Osvaldo...

Man utd fans did the same when decisions went our way as well...

Situation is different-

No it isn't.

I have never and will never be in a situation in my life where I feel the need to racially abuse someone. It's not a judgement problem, it's an attitude problem. Racial abuse shouldn't even be an option. It certainly isn't for me. I don't even think about racially abusing someone in an argument because, to me, it's not even something I can fathom. The fact that some people involved in the game not only think it is a tool to use to defend their position, but ACCEPTABLE, really angers me.
