Thats the point. The 19th minute applause was done because a player has cancer. You're using it because a manager got got sacked...
As for petty; given the treatment of benitez. Pot. Kettle. Black.

Wonder if Utd fans would say the same if he got the job there........

I'd be happy, he's a brilliant manager. At the end of the day he would be at my club trying to do the best for it. So I would back him to the hilt.

He didn't slate your fans personally. Look I was kind of backing him when these comments came back up by saying "he was managing a rival so what you expect" but slating our club and slating our fans are two completely different things. He as much as denied saying these things in the press-conference when instead he could have kind of apologised or said i didn't mean anything i said.

Our fans have been slated by our own player, water off a ducks back. Our manager has slated/slates him. It happens. Once he's at the club I couldn't care less, he is a professional manager who will do his best.

Im not debating he wants to do his best for the club, his bank balance and his C.V but when you publicly attack our fans we have every right not to be happy about it. Especially when that man replaces a complete club legend nah?

It isn't strictly for ill or people in football that have sadly passed. I'm guessing you think it devalues the sentiment for the future? Which isn't true, the sentiment is what the minute clapping is for, it will obviously mean more if its the traditional passing of a player or a person being ill rather than a managerial sacking.
There are other ways to show respect for people but its obviously down to the fans/club to arrange something.

So you're gonna cut off your nose to spite your face? Sound logic... why not aim the displeasure at the man who hired him as well?

There was a walk and chanting outside sounding our displeasure towards the board which included Roman before the game. The fans are more ****** off with Roman than they are with Rafa trust me.

In all fairness to Chelsea fans, Benitez did slag them and their team off. It's no surprise that they aren't enthusiatic about him being their manager tbh. I also don't see much wrong with clapping for Di Matteo on the 16th minute.

Wait, first you say AVB and RDM played attractive, and now you say the entire team cant play attractive. Make up your mind.
What I meant is that Chelsea does not have the squad to play attractive football and be successful (in the way that Barca are), as Abramovich seems to demand.

First of all, thank you for entertaining me for the last hour.

Second and most important, and I'm addressing this to all of you haters, morons and trolls. We do not like him - FACT, but I and a lot of people will support him and the team because that's what we (must) do. At the end of the day, this is CHELSEA FC we are talking about here. Be sensible.

And do not expect Pep to come, he won't. He would be an idiot if he did. Roman will sack him the way he sacked Carlo and RDM. The dude is ruthless.

Roman does not understand football and the way it works it's as simple as that.

Think thats a tad unfair. After 8 years I reckon he knows a little bit don't you?

Well i think he believes if he throws money at things then it will come and that has worked but i mean in terms of playing styles and how look it takes to change a style.

Abramovic would be easier to like if he was just a little more patient with managers. I know there is a statistic showing how successful Chelsea are compared to Man Utd even though they have had far more Managerial changes but in terms of stability and sustainability it just can't work. What I want to know is why aren't the head people at Chelsea advising him? Surely he wants to see his team being suce financially and football wise, rather than constantly pouring money into the team in terms of manager's and expensive players.

Because they are his "yes men". He isn't going to have people who dis-agrees with him at the club is he? Ray Wilkins done that and look what happened to him!
