I genuinely think Rafa can put Chelsea back in a title challenge, if they get Ba, I would honestly begin to worry about them more than City, because they would roughly similar squads but with a much better manager. Honestly if I was Roman I would tell the rest of the Chelsea fans to suck it up, and hire him permanently. Thankfully he is leaving. Because i would mark them as a massive threat next year under him.

Totally agree with you mate, yes he cannot play 40+ games a season or 3 games a week anymore but he is still the best goalscoring midfielder around for sure.

I don't nessecairly think he is a bad manager but its the personal triade towards us i.e the fans which makes us want him out rather than him actually replacing Robbie.

It's not but its still classless in every sense of the word. When he called Drogba a cheat/diver and Lampard overrated that for me is fair enough. He is trying to wind up opposition players and get an edge for his side to win the game so that doesn't bother me (even though he was kind of telling the truth for the Drogba one lol). But to slate opposition fans for me does not give your side a edge and is just not needed at all. He has had chances to apologise or even say "i didn't mean what i said" and i can guarentee that would have eased some tension on him.
 
Juan Mata ends 2012 with 13 assists, more than any other EPL player. Half of the year was spent with a **** attack. Our one and only world-class player at the moment.

Bit harsh on Ivanovic, he is tank, he is world class, he is da man who must join Manchester United and partner Vidic. (A man can dream). Nah I literally love this guy even though he plays for Chelsea because he always gives everything for the team and is really under rated. Would definitely say he is in the top 3 Centre Back's in Premier League.

Yeah, according to the Daily Mirror (a highly reliable source :P ), Ba is set to be the first of our signings. Followed by Taison and Paulinho. Paulinho would be awesome, I have to say.

Suprisingly enough, it seems to be the wage demands of 100k a week. Chelsea are only prepared to offer 70k apparently. Not the end of the world, still better options out there in my opinion. Not quite sure who Chelsea will turn to now, but I suspect Negredo.

We're in a difficult situation, but there's no way we should be buying anyone who demands to be in the first team and who will cost a lot of money/has massive wages.
 
I would say recall Lukaku, but he's doing well at WBA and there's a lot less pressure on him there. I think he can turn into a fantastic player, but he needs that sort of environment to work on his technique. If he's playing for CFC, then every bad first touch will be scrutinised, so he’s a lot less likely to break out of his shell. We want him to experiment, to know that he can make mistakes and be more than a battering ram without being constantly judged.
 
If Ba came to me with those demans I would use my favourite retort to such ridiculous statements. Off you f*ck lol

If true then even as much as i like him i'd tell him where to go and take a gamble whether another top side will pay that for him. I know Arsenal are interested and we all know they wont pay that sort of money for him. I suspect Ba will still be a Newcastle player come January 31st standing closely to a helicopter.
