I am not really worried about this tbh... Roman definetly has a plan to make us cut even as he wont be sanctioning big name transfers for the fun of it and hoping UEFA pardon Chelsea... and he also stands to make a massive loss from a business perspective if we cant compete in the Champions League so that should serve as extra motivation for him
I trust Roman, you dont become one of the richest men in the world by making stupid decisions and hoping that you are lucky, Roman knows more about these fianancial matters than any on this forum so to Chelsea fans, I think we should trust him that he will make us comply with the FFP

But tbh there is a huge difference between the Brazilian League and the English League thats why hardly any Brazilian players have done well in the English League, anything higher than 30m would be a waste according to me

Well wasn't really his fault though as the Penarol players started charging at the Santos players and kicking them lol. Although he did kick them back was only really sell-defence.

I think the Brazilian players struggling is changing though now.
tbh Mate I have always thought Neymar is a really special player and would do wonders for us, e is exactly the sort of player who can rejuvenate our squad and as far as his attitude is concerned, I think someone like AVB who places high importance on manager-player relationship and senior players like Lampard and Terry can change that
I wont be 2 disappointed if we pay 40m to secure his services, it will be a massive gamble but one that can pay off spectacularly well
its risky brother, his physical stats are not good. i mean, for example take someone like Huth or Samba and compare him to Neymar, haha. u know what im sayin. so 40 maybe too much for him. gamble indeed.
look at Hernandez, he worked really hard so if Neymar just puts in the hours improving his upper-body strength he can easily become a sensation
If they can't get near him it doesn't matter and if they do get near him he'll dive and get a free-kick lol.
40m is still a gamble tho, although he would be perfect for us on the left if he performs

As we appointed Boas insted of Hiddink i think the Lukaku deal is off and our intrest in Neymar has got stronger. I think Boas likes the flair type players and with Neymar in a front 3 with one of Torres or Falcao through the middle on paper that is one of the strongest attacks in football.

No it wasent all down to Boas. Football is a team game so it was down too Boas, his staff and the Porto players. But not only did they win the league they won 4trophies last season?? So really they were at a much higher level than any other team in Portugal simple as that.
