1) We must sign Strootman, for me he is the priority midfielder.

2) We activate Thiago's 18m euro clause and see that what happens. he is everything we want Cleverley to be, and if Thago can add some long range to his passing he will be terrifying.

3)If that fails, only then do we look at Cabaye, and then only for about 17m max.

Better him playing week in week out playing Champions League football which will cement his place at Belgium number 1 and then get a world cup under his belt but the time he comes back to us again then sitting on the bench maybe playing 10 odd games surely? Cech proved last season he is still number 1 for a reason and Courtois is too good to be a number 2.

Thibaut should go on loan again and maybe the season after he should be our #1 in my opinion. You surely don't want to lose him.

If we sold him it would be absolutely criminal! As Jose said about Cech in his last tenure here a good keeper wins you 10-15 points alone every season and Courtois is that. Cech's successor and could set us up for 10 years without a doubt.

Selling him would be one of the worst things Chelsea have done, and that's saying something given your history!

He is fantastic, he is going to be one of the best keepers in the world at this rate. Send him to Atletico until Cech starts winding down. You're not going to find a better young keeper. We already have the other one :D

When you try to talk to them like a normal person, they always bring up Persie and how GODLIKE he is. So, just saying. "Obviously" Persie is the greatest player they've had since Henry, except, Henry is godlike and Persie is not. Yet.
 
As i expected a very calm mature Jose press conference giving nothing away. Best thing to come out of it is that he said players like De Bruyne and Lukaku are players that Chelsea need right now. The only thing i ever come away from press conferences thinking is "my god the media ask some ***** questions.......over and over again!"
 
Glad to hear that Lukaku and de Bruyne returns to Chelsea. I believe in a succesful season competing for the title! Hopefully some stability for the next years. Hopefully, Mourinho's name is going to attract some great players as well.

There is also rumours about Lazar Markovic being a Chelsea player, who is going to be loaned out to Benfica, before establishing himself on the team. I believe he would be a great signing for the future.
