The blip was down to loads of things all happening in a short space of time. One was players loosing form at the same time so Malouda cant just be blaimed for that, Anelka only has one year left on his contract so let him see it out.

Its not as if he will take any moves so just bench him

He genuinely could be telling the truth. Need to wait for Sky's response, if they pick this up and keep running with the PSG story then they don't believe him but if they pull their story then...Deal could be on.

You just knew this transfer wouldn't be straight forward with Maurizio involved.

www.stadionews.it - in diretta da Palermo

He could indeed, you wouldn't think he would quote an agent if it was false. But, we'll see, like I said I won't get my hopes up.

If he was less selfish, he could have nearly doubled that. Maybe it can be coached out of him.

I dont mind him being abit greedy, last season he took 88 shots with 38 hitting the target so his ratio is not that bad. Plus the season before (double winning season) he grabbed 14 assists so he can do it. All in all Flo's Chelsea record looks like:
Appearences: 187
Goals: 42
Assists: 31
Shots at Goal: 258
Shots on Target: 128

Thats why i dont mind Flo taking shots.

Exacly, no-one will be able to match his wages and although he was under par most of last season he still managed 15odd goals.

I'm still not going to get too confident, but it's looking a lot brighter on the Pastore front again. Apparently all of the Italian media were just making the story that he was definitely joining PSG up, and he apparently wants to join Chelsea and his agent will negotiate personal terms tomorrow morning. If the terms are agreed he will most likely have a medical on Monday and finalise personal terms etc. Zamparini says Chelsea bid nearing 50 million euros has been accepted.

According to somebody on Twitter Adam Johnson has had an interview with the Sun revealing he wants to leave and has talked to Mancini about a possible move to Chelsea. Now I don't know how reliable this is, but it is apparently going to be on The Sun's website tomorrow, so I suppose we'll find out then.

While I think we need somebody like Johnson I would much rather get Mata, if Mata goes to Arsenal though Johnson wouldn't be a bad signing...English too, which is always an added bonus and I have heard AVB wants an English addition to the team. Like I say though Mata > Johnson.

I know alot about AJ, I would say if he can be nurtured by AVB he could turn into a sensation on the wing...I just don't see it happening unfortunately.

At MFC he always played LW but Mancini converted him into a RW and he is brilliant at cutting inside on his left peg my only question with AJ is can he keep his head on the ball and not run with it as much just to try and keep the ball. Otherwise he would be a sensational player to sign, finishing is world class.

About to jump on my Italian media internet bookmarks bus in a minute to see what they are reporting.

Expecting developments tonight because the FC Thun game has finished.

Pastore wasnt even in the group?

BlueHeart- He was with the squad watching in the stadium, I think he gave a comment after the game saying ''PSG? I know nothing.''

He definitely was with the squad for Thun just not involved in it, expecting some sort of developments depending whether him and his agent fly to London or Paris I guess.

He knows nothing? wtf i thought he was off to paris, cmon man is he going there or what. **** media, for once tell people the truth ffs.

Sky are still running with the fact Pastore is off to Paris tomorrow in Italy. Alot of British journo's are claiming sources in France are saying Pastore will be a PSG player by the weekend.

Yet Zamparini specifically said his agent will fly to London tomorrow...

I know I say never believe Zamparini but god **** it I don't think he would be stupid enough to say he's off to London when he knows he's off to Paris...Or is he?

I remember that team in Uzbekistan a few years ago that submitted an 80 million pound offer for Eto'o and offered him 50 million a year...Kerching.

They can't be serious?! Surely he wouldn't change his mind in the matter of a couple of hours? I think it's now a matter of guess work for the media.

Actually I think it's the other way round. Modern football is the only place this could happen. I remember the times when I was young and clubs actually tried to keep their players - there was not such thing as a 'selling' club - to fight for a title, and if a player wanted to move to another club, money was more of a compensation than a 'price' you could pay to 'buy' someone - there was no such established transfer market as we have today.

Those times when you could read a newspaper and you could find out if a player moved or not, or if negotiations were ongoing, but you didn't have to read a shitload of false rumours generated merely to entice people to buy the paper the next day, or to check the webpage every hour or so looking for new developements.

All of this rumour **** is a by-product of modern football, wether we like it or not.
