Courtois interview (Not sure if anyone has posted this) with a Spanish radio, makes some comments on his future.

"At the moment I am here just for one season, but I wouldn't have problems to spend a second one. Then I would like to play for one or two years in an English club like Fulham or Tottenham"

Interesting that he mentions Fulham and Tottenham as destinations for 1 or 2 years after this season, more interesting is thinking about the plausibility of it. Schwarzer isn't going to go on forever and Friedel is a stop gap for Spurs, seems like Courtois has his future planned out.

It would benefit him a lot to play a season in the Premier League, seems like he is committed long term to Chelsea but he knows with Cech still around his chances will be limited.

Courtois looks a confident and talented lad to me, it would be best for all of us if he is eased into English Football rather than being thrown in the deep end right away as De Gea was.... hoping he backs up his confidence with some performances

We would have lost about 4-0 last season - excellent from AVB - CA was always too predictable and lacked a plan B (and C,D which was needed today).

Yeah, that happened about 3 times with Luiz - I think Warnock must've told them to keep him quiet in the box, although he's not one of our biggest threats in the air, but that's the only only thing I can think of...well either that or they were doing it to try and fire Luiz up, so that he got sent off.

I dont know lol but for some reason this is probably the most satisfying loss i have ever experienced.... who can say that Chelsea players dont play for the badge after seeing this match, Luiz was passionate and he lost his composure but thats what we ask fro our players, Passion and all of our players fought like heroes not to mention that we owned QPR with 9 men and those men did not include possibly our 3 best players this season in Mata, Sturridge and Ramires and we really were forced to rely on one player doing the job of 3 men, wish Ramires was availiable to play haha, he would have done it no problem

Luiz played his heart out, yes he did make a sily mistake in conceding the penalty but it happens to every player and he tried his very best in the second half, I dont want more than that from our players... And how many managers could have possibly sent out a 9 man team and dominated the first half like that against a decent side like QPR, not a fat many and thats why my respect for AVB has grown, this man has gained the respect of our players and he sends them out telling them they still have a chance to beat the odds and they respond

Lets take the huge positives from the game guys, when QPR come to Bridge, no mercy and no respect.. we are gonna ******* slaughter them with 11 men

Watched the highlights again, I thought Foy got most of the decisions right. It was clear penalty and awful decision making from Luiz. You can argue for Bosingwa red card, but had it not been given you could have argued that he deserved red. Drogba's was no brainer.

Only decision he got wrong was Chelsea should have got a penalty.

Only decision lol, its a pretty big one. Plus he handed out cards like they were freebees for everything. Couldnt handle the pressure of the game simple as that.

Seen refs missing penalty calls a lot. It is nothing new.

I don't think you can say 'they didn't handle the pressure of the game' considering it was at... Loftus Road.

Bosingwa vs Wright Phillips was not a tug back or a bring down it was a 50:50 tussle, I personally think Foy got that one wrong completely. Drogba's red card was the correct decision, at least 3 of the yellows were petty and very harsh, Lampard should have had a penalty though there's no doubt about that. He was in front of his man and he started going down before Cole crossed it, I can't see why that wasn't especially considering Foy sent off Bosingwa for a 50:50 race 'tussle' with Wright Phillips.

But saying it was the pressure of the game is pretty unfounded, this is Chris Foy not a novice referee, and with respect to QPR a game between QPR and Chelsea in late October at Loftus Road is hardly a 'pressure game' is it?

This is the same referee who refereed Chelsea vs Manchester City earlier in the year when the title was, at the time, still up for grabs so I really don't think you can say the pressure got to him.

Oh im not denying that, its just annoying when i can recall two dead cert penos which they have missed for us this season and if they did actually see them then we would be 3 points better off which is alot.

Watched the after-match analysis. They said it was 50/50, not a definite penalty. Cole's cross wasn't going to reach lampard,it was heading straight at the keeper and lampard went down a little too dramatically, that might be the reason why he didn't give the penalty. But the defender holding his arms around Luiz inside the box is a definitely a penalty, can't see why the ref didn't give it considering he was giving out cards for the most trivial of fouls.

One thing i have been notified of on another website. Sundays ref (Chris Foy) is a self acclaimed Everton fan (Chelsea's next opponents). After sending off two and booking another 8 Chelsea players 3 first team players will now miss Wednesdays clash with Everton and it could have been alot more. I think the FA dropped the ball on that one.

Excuses already in for when we gub you then ;) lol

We dont need an excuse we got a torrid record at your pad lol we are expected to lose.

We're pretty much like a wasp around a picnic. We like to irritate the **** out of opponents and make their experience miserable as **** lol. Tbh though it's got 0-0 written all over it and a pen shoot out.

Fully expecting a lot of changes, with the important matter of Man Utd next Saturday. Saying that, the beast that is Ross Barkley could do a Dan Gosling and break some hearts

I genuinly hate playing at Goodison, i heard Lamps in an interview once say its the best away ground he has played at. For me as a Chelsea fan the away fixture with you is up there with Utd, Arsenal, City and Liverpool in terms of toughness. Yer i expect a few changes for us too, i rekon the likes of Bertrand, Oriol, Lukaku, Alex and Kalou to play.

Think it's the closeness to the supporters the players get in the stadium that makes it special-and the noise is unbelievable. Can't beat a traditional stadium for atmosphere. Though admittedly it's in serious need of sorting out right now lol

Drogba's sending off was crystal clear. Anyone would have given red except Atkinson. And I can see why he gave red for Bosingwa. There was no way Terry would have stopped SWP.

Yeah well, as long as he doesn't leave on a free like Dan did I'd be chuffed if that happened.

//Edit - I wouldn't mind a repeat of last season's FA cup match at the bridge either.

Don't remind me of the Gosling saga-god that was just such an embarassment. And it still rankles with me when I hear Newcastle fans talking about him. But, what's f***ed up is f***cked up.

I'd love a Man Utd type scoreline when it ended up being 3-3-though I'd prefer no pen heartbreak lol. It's those sort of games that can make the CC worthwhile again.

I agree with the Drogba red card and the Bozzy one was 50/50, the main issue was the ammount of yellows he chucked out and some of them wearn't yellows. Also with the Everton game being Chelsea's next if he wanted to he had a chance to influence the game and he shouldnt have been the ref Sunday simple as that.
