Disappointed at no Torres. Very Disappointed. And it's not so much that Torres isn't starting; more that Drogba is. He put a lot of effort in against Liverpool, but looked nowhere near good enough, and he looked better because we changed our style to suit him. AVB's most likely doing it to persuade Drogba to sign a new contract or to get his price up.
I'm glad he is; you don't adjust to new tactics overnight, and us Chelsea fans just need to be patient and accept that we are most likely going to concede goals.
I just don't think the high defensive line works tbh. Some of the players are starting to improve, but they need to improve the back 4 speedwise as Terry has to rely on position half the time as obviously he's not the paciest (though I still think he can be quality obviously), and I see Luiz more as an attacking player-but thats just going by what I've seen of him on tv as I haven't been to Chelsea. So i stand to be corrected there, but it's just by going what Ive seen on the box

Well, recent results have obviously angered me, but my aim for us was top 4 for this season, so it's kinda' what I expected. I like the high line, but it is very frustrating when not everyone goes with the line, and ends up playing opposition forwards onside.
Tbf the ref has disrupted the flow of the game, and Chelsea should've had a pen when Droga was floored in the area. Plus Leverkeusen don't let in a lot of goals either so it was going to be a tough game. But Matta definately had a poor game

Real mess right now. AVB needs to clean it up before it's too late. But this also means one extremely exciting final matchday is in store.
