Paris Saint-Germain (two spells)
Arsenal
Real Madrid
Liverpool
Manchester City
Fenerbache
Bolton
Chelsea

and now... Shanghai Shenhua

To call him a journeyman is a understatement tbh

To be fair they're all top clubs really, now Shanghai? lol

I've seen Gypsys stay in the same place longer than Anelka does!

no other top club will take him now, not that his attitude and his tendency to fight with ever club coach he plays under helps his stock... plus for a 6 million a year contract I will go live in Madagascar, let alone China

I nearly smashed a cup this morning, I sat down at the laptop at 8am to check the latest football news. I go over to my Juve news site, it might as well have been officially confirmed by Beppe himself due to the amount of credence it's been given...

Marotta is already talking to Kalou, now I know Beppe well enough to know this could be him testing the waters with Chelsea to see what price they would want. He did the same with Bastos/Aquilani, but if he really wants Kalou in January which it appears he does then I'm not sure what I would do.

Kalou leaving is brilliant, just not to any other team I support. I mean he can barely tie Amauri's shoes so what gives him the audacity to even talk to Juventus is beyond me. I don't doubt Conte wants him to play in his 4-3-3, don't doubt that at all, but I don't want him.

I don't think any Juve fan wants him, I would take Emile Heskey on the Juve left wing over Kalou.

I hope the story dies out but Turin journalists have been on Sky Italia today saying it's likely. TS have picked it up and ran with it today, I suspect other outlets will have it soon enough.

''Beppe's dodgy eye is going to lead to another dodgy buy'' - Juve fans haven't pulled that one out since he signed Armand Traore.

And I am pretty sure there will be celebrations up and down West London if this deal comes true... a team actually willing to pay us to take Kalou off our hands, superb stuff :D

What is AVB thinking? WHY DROGBA AGAIN!!!!!!

Well Didier made you look like a right mug didnt he!!!!

Brilliant performance from the lads and very impressive tacticly from AVB. He knew Valencia would have majority of the ball so let them have it get 10 bodies behind the ball defend deeply and they when we get the ball hit them on the counter attack with a mixture of pace, strengh and flair with Drogba, Ramires, Mata and Sturridge. During our little blip i was saying get Romeu in the squad, 4 games later and he has been in three 3-0 wins enough said. The man can tackle and pass better than Mikel and he more intellegent too, a great signing and is a definate starter now. Now to Drogba, at the weekend he scored but his all round performance was shockingly poor. Yesterday though he looked somewhere near the beast he once was. Lets not forget people say Drogba wasen't as good because of his age but i didnt buy that at all. This man suffered from a pretty bad case of malaria, injuries and only just had a metal plate taken out of his arm. Give him a run of games like he is getting and he looks like he is slowly getting back to form which even before we signed Torres i would have taken a fully fit on form Drogba over a fully fit on form Torres and nothing has changed. Terry was immense again as he was at the weekend and Luiz was very good too. I think we need a new left winger, centre back and right back and we will be just fine. UTC

this could be the game that kick-starts your season again with the window opening in a few weeks.

You will understand i dont want you to though being a top 4 rival and that ;)

Why not, he is worth at least 15 Million according to few here ;)

I think the Newcastle game was the one that could kickstart us. Every club has a little blip so i hope thats ours out the way.

Easy to say that now the match has been played mate, but beforehand none of us knew what type of performance Didier would put in.

But you can also look at it by saying that by putting 10 bodies behind the ball defending deeply we let them have the majority of the ball. Don't get me wrong it was the perfect tactic for the occasion but you can't say Drogba was the right choice because we played style A; if Torres had started we would have played style B.

Looks like it's London, not Manchester, that will be representing the cream of the English crop. United crashing out to Basel when they needed a draw, combined with us beating Valencia 3-0, Arsenal losing 3-1 and City not getting in/Napoli making the knock-out stages is enough to keep me happy for the rest of this slightly shaky season. ^^)

Mikel is definitely the better passer, there is no doubt about it in my mind. However, I think Romeu is a very good passer; just not on Mikel's level...yet!

I'm calling this now, we are winning the Champs league.

No theories to back it up, I just think it might be our year (maybe gloating a little that we are still in the competition too). Also AVB winning it in his first year would almost make him <insert highly respected religious figure here>

Of course, but it shows why people shouldn't be so hasty in judging a manager.

Can't criticise it when it worked so spectacularly well, can you? Drogba was the right man for this job. Sitting deep and hitting on the counter is a system that Drogba is absolutely perfect for. He has spent the majority of his career honing his skills for just this type of occasion, and it showed.

Mikel's a better passer, but Romeu has a far, far better passing range. Where Mikel lays the ball off sideways, Romeu can step forward and play a raking crossfield ball, or just recycle it. Provides far more options from deep. An excellent signing so far.

Mourinho?

Mikel can do that too, and when he does he's also a lot better at those sort of balls than Romeu. I'm pretty sure either Mikel gets told to play it simple by every Chelsea manager he's been managed by, or that Mourinho told him to and he can't get out of the habit. But come to think of it against Blackburn he played a lot of vertical passes (as he has in other games this season, and he did it a lot at the start of 10/11 season), people always seem to overlook the games where he does though.

Romeu understands how to play in AVB's system way better than Mikel tho... his performance against Valencia was excellent and for someone who only played 2 top-flight matches last year, he has a long way to progress, i would shell out 28m because he is an excellent player, look at Romeu he has hardly made mistakes, i only remembered one in the Valencia Game where he failed to clear a ball but for someone who is in his first-season at a top club and playing week in and out, that is understandable

Mikel on the other hand who has lots of experience, his mistake against Liverpool in the league was horrendous... if Romeu made that mistake its still understandable due to his inexperience but Mike;
