Romeu understands how to play in AVB's system way better than Mikel tho... his performance against Valencia was excellent and for someone who only played 2 top-flight matches last year, he has a long way to progress, i would shell out 28m because he is an excellent player, look at Romeu he has hardly made mistakes, i only remembered one in the Valencia Game where he failed to clear a ball but for someone who is in his first-season at a top club and playing week in and out, that is understandable

Mikel on the other hand who has lots of experience, his mistake against Liverpool in the league was horrendous... if Romeu made that mistake its still understandable due to his inexperience but Mike;

I'm talking about passing though...? But, if we insist on bringing up mistakes, then Romeu made a couple against Valencia, but as you say he's inexperienced so I can accept that he will make them. Mikel's however; yes, it was partly his fault but Cech was just as much to blame imo.

Mikel is definitely the better passer, there is no doubt about it in my mind. However, I think Romeu is a very good passer; just not on Mikel's level...yet!

Mikel's a better passer, but Romeu has a far, far better passing range. Where Mikel lays the ball off sideways, Romeu can step forward and play a raking crossfield ball, or just recycle it. Provides far more options from deep. An excellent signing so far.

This is what i ment Chris mate, Mikel will genuinly look for the harder ball at time where as Romeu will use the easier ball and release it much much quicker. Started the 2nd goal against Wolves and started the 2nd goal against Valencia too. You dont see Mikel doing that on a regular enough basis.

'cept Rooney's practically an attacking midfielder now, and provides for others. Likewise Suarez wins free kicks and can thread a pass. Torres is a prima punta, no more.

I kinda feel like you are going for a trip to Russia. Either CSKA or Zenit.

awesome, Rajkovic is an excellent CB and lets hope we can bring him back to replace Alex instead of buying a new CB
