Been waiting for Classic Drogba, has come alive in the last two games, showing us just how fearsome he is.

City will run away with... oh, thats why you dont talk about titles in DECEMBER

I have been saying for few months, on any day I would pick Drogba over Torres, for that matter over many strikers in the league. He is a beast. He had average game but in the last few mins when they possession was key he did awesome job.

Oh just 2 points off the top and we are in Crisis.

LOL Balotelli is MAD .

Apart from the moment where he thought JT elbowed him I thought Balotelli was the most gracious player in defeat today - some may say it's because he doesn't care, but I disagree I think he just realised that we were the better team overall today. Even the first half I don't think City were much better, maybe a bit, but not much.

Chelsea have done themselves, Utd, Arsenal and any other club considered as title contenders a huge favour! I will be honest about a month ago if somebody said to me you will beat City on the 12th December I would of laughed but now we look like a different side under AVB. We kept Silva fairly quiet which was a key. I was very impressed with Sturridge, Mata and Ramires and I also thought Terry defended well and Romeu put in another solid performance. Absoloutely over the moon at the moment!

They started off brilliantly then looked very tired in the second half. Even with 11 they were on back foot. Yaya can't run after 70 mins. I have seen this few times that City get tired very soon in the second half. Something to do with over pressing right from the start I think.

What a performance! How good is Romeu? Did he misplace a pass? Drogs back to actually playing instead of sulking. Tactics spot on from AVB.

What a performance and what a result, this is going to give the team a real boost doing something no tea has managed to do in the PLM this season...

Sturridge really took Clichy to the cleaners today, what pace and trickery from the lad.. awesome stuff

Drogba in those last few kin was terrific, kept the ball and Man City did not know what to do

Ramires had those excellent surging runs which somehow always ended up with him smashing into the brick shithouse that is Yaya Toure

Overall it was a decent game of football, the final ball of both sides was marred by the wind but i feel Chelsea were the better team throughout the game barring the first 20min

RAMIRES IS ONE OF THE BEST

I keep realizing this with every game he plays. Awesome. Just awesome.

yes they press really hard in the first few minutes, on of the reasons they got a goal so early because they caught us out early but judging by the way they were closing us down in the first half, i thought that they would definitely tire in the second half

Yaya Toure is a beast but he is pathetic after 70min, i agree with you... plus he also was having a good time bullying Mata, well who got the last laugh Yaya (K)

It is beyond joke how Yaya didn't even get a single yellow. He should have had 3-4 yellows.

And Romeu lad is awesome. He will have a great future. Such a calm head for such a young age. Oh wait he is La Masia product. No wonder he can keep possession with ease and find pass that many can't.

Yaya was laying into Mata, especially the cuff on the head, he could have got a yellow for that easy

And Romeu is amazing, moves the ball more quickly than Mikel and recycles possesion more effectively, he understands the system better than Mikel as I have said all season... ****** good player and not a single mistake from him tonight, should definitely be in our First XI regularly from now on considering he has already shown that he can compete with the best and their is possibly no attack more potent than City's in EPL

the only "-" with him is the lack of experience, i mean yea he did well last games, but against the likes of utd, barca, realm would be risky if he play him instead of Meireles in that position. I dont know. The lad is currently doing exceptionally well and I have big expectations for him.
