His shooting is hit and miss, hit some real stinkers yesterday and one would have gone out for a throw-in if Mata wasen't well placed after he took a corner. And yes Mikel is poor at shooting, one goal since he joined the club says it all.

Mikel has scored 2 for Chelsea. One against Nottingham Forest, which was if I remember rightly was not very good, but the one against Macclesfield was a great goal. But, please tell me what evidence there is that he has bad shooting? He doesn't get in positions to score goals (because Mourinho restricted him, which is probably the biggest mistake he made as our manager - Mikel could have been one of the best attacking midfielders in the world) so I don't see how that means he can't shoot. Whenever he shtots they usually smash the bar or whistle past the post.

Oh, and last night I watched 'Q+A with Frank Lampard' which I recorded a couple of days ago and Frank said that he doesn't want to coach/manage at any club other than Chelsea. He said he would love to manage a club one day, but it won't be easy because he's restricting himself to one club.

I think he may change his mind when it actually comes to it, but it would be great if Frank stays on in some way after he retires.

Imo Lamps would make a great youth coach then coach proper further down the line. What youngster wouldn't want to be coached by him? The thought of being coached by him would be motivation enough to go to Stamford Bridge

We had reeeally good(if not perfect) chances to see Spuds off, especially the one from Sturridge that went over the bar, he should have nailed that one ;[ + 2 chances for Rami, hitting the post by Drogba, Mata's chance was really difficult tbh, but we count it anyway, so 5 or 6 really good chances.. and I dont even count the shots from distance. so yea, we deserved the win more.

So you simply ignore the fact that they had the same amount of chances you did? Okay.

and dont forget JT, who also expressed his desire to coach Chelsea one day :)

how about JT as manager and Lamps as assistant manager? EPIC much? Two best friends, two legends for the club managing the club they truly love = PRICELESS.

as I see you just ignored the whole game. Did you even watch it?
anyway, challenge accepted.
name 6 of their chances as clear as ours. GO GO GO

I know where you are coming from, but tbh performing on field and teaching how to do are completely different.

Without doubt yeah. But he strikes me as a very intelligent bloke, very hard working, along with being a model professional. I honestly think he'll do very well because he'll be determined to improve all the time.

First of all, you counted 5.

Secondly, I have already named them a few pages back, feel free to take a look.

Yeah just saying being good players doesn't mean he will be nailed on to become good youth coach ;)

He should become coach/manager though, too much talent and experience to pass on.

How was i being bias towards Chelsea if you are agreeing with my post that you can see why we would back him on the pitch? Its quite obvious as a man off the pitch Terry seems to be a ***** but i dont give a toss.

It was just a general statement, rather than about that single post. If Terry had been playing for Man United or Liverpool and did the same things, you would hate him and call him a **** every chance you got. :) There is not problem with being bias towards your club, every one is, I was just making the point that he wouldn't be able to change your mind.

Well Rooney and Giggs have been complete knobheads off the field but that didnt change my opinion of them. My opinion of Rooney changes when he does something stupid on the field. The way i see it if Rooney sleeps with old biddies or Giggs sleeps with half of his family it dosen't effect me in the slightest.

I think out of the current crop of our older players who may go into coaching i.e Cole, Terry and Lampard i think Lampard has all the right tools to be the best of the three. He is mainly liked, worked harder than any of the other 3 to get to the level he is known for and is a very intellegent man too.

And look at the success Nick Barmby has had aswell. Straight in at the deep end and it's working very well

Almost went past me without noticing but when i heard he was caretaker and saw how well they were doing i was chuft for him. Its always nice seeing former players from my era doing well, you got Lee Clark and Chris Powell doing really well too.

Elen Rivas trying to make Lampard look bad:

"Sad a father would deliberately stop his children from speaking to their mother over Christmas...:("

"You would have thought the girlfriend would have a little maternal understanding..;("

Then Christine Bleakley tweeted:

"@jillmorgan1 thanks J. I'd happily put the record straight but really don't think twitter is a place to do it when children are involved x"

Sad that she is going to Twitter to try and gain sympathy and make Frank look bad. I can understand her being upset, but it is not the right way to go about it.

Well, I wanna wish you all Chelsea fans a very merry Christmas and may 2012 be a year of great success for the club, hopefully we will bring some trophies back at the Bridge. Wish you all the best. Cheers.

Speaking of Lampard...
