Not going to dispute that particular statement, but then again, he IS a footballer. He's not seemingly particularly grateful a big club has come for him, no, but he's no fool. He's playing a dangerous game, but if it pays off, it will do so both in funds and reputation.

Which was what I said in the first place - I'd be happy to see Chelsea telling him to **** off for being a greedy *******. I don't see that happening, though.

im not going into this again....
small club in Birmingham

How many European Cups have you won again? :)

Fair enough. I'd be quite amused if that happened, to be fair. I still think Cahill's overrated.

Athe what you're saying makes it sound like that no player should ever leave their current club to join a big team.

And where exactly did I say that? =/ I'm saying he should stay to try and steer Bolton clear of relegation and then move on, I said he should've signed an extension so that Bolton could get some cash for him instead of leaving on a free, I never said he should sign a long term deal or anything like that. And Phil Jones has hardly got anything at all to do with this.

PS - Reports are factual AFAIK.

I think he's been overhyped due to being English, but he's a good player nonetheless.

I think he's alright, yes, but I think he lacks a bit of pace and he's not the most composed, nor the best tackler. In fact, the latter was one of the reasons O'Neill thought he'd never be a top-level player, apparently.

you win this round....
Birmingham is still a shithole

Not so good at debating when you don't have a ginger called Anthony backing you up, are you? :)

It's the way you keep repeating that Cahill owes Bolton and should feel guilty about leaving when really he has given Bolton many impressive performances so owes them nothing. I understand what you mean about they should have given him an extension at the start of the season but that's Bolton's fault not Cahill's. This could be Cahill's big chance so I say go for it, the same offer may not be there in the summer and if he signed a new deal he would be stuck at Bolton. Used Phil Jones as an example as to why Cahill owes Bolton nothing (Jones gave Blackburn good performances so deserved his big break). Ok didn't know if they were confirmed or not

As if. You think an inexperienced teenager with no more than 10 professional games is going to walk in to a premier league team and be a guaranteed starter? Have you watched Swansea this season? Allen, Britton and Gower are streaks ahead.

As i said they have all been brilliant but i still believe McEachran would get in the starting line-up.

haha that was fun times. But not having that on here, don't want infractions for spam/pointless posts. This kind of thing belongs on facebook ;)

Most Englishman are overhyped but he is one of the best English centre backs around and for 7mill its a bargain in my eyes.

have you EVER watched Josh play?

get a grip on reality seriously. McEachran is at least as good as Wilshere, and has potential of being even better. So shut up.

the point he's making is that he's a completly unproven young PL midfielder going into a team who are battling for every point to stay up and are playing well. The thought of him just walking into the team is just ignorant and disrespectful to Swansea

Mature.

Not to mention being incorrect. Calling McEachran "at least as good as Wilshere" is wildly overestimating the ability of a gifted but inexperienced player who hasn't started enough against proper opposition (for example, Wilshere excelled against Barcelona's midfield) to be able to truly rank alongside, well, anyone at the moment.

so whilst Wilshere was up against Xavi and Inieta, putting in sterling performances, and being Arsenal Football Club's best player last year..

Josh McEachran was running midfields in the reserve premier league.

NICE LOGIC BRO'

pahaha.

He hasn't played more than 10 professional games, and I don't think he's ever started a game in the premier league. Yet he's better than an established England international, premier league player and CL player? You're off your ******* rocker. Clueless, utterly clueless. He may well be a good young player, but you expect him to walk into a PL team when he's never started a premier league game before?

Oh and get a grip on reality? The irony. Idiot.

Good one. I almost believed you. And Im not even being ignorant :) I wish he plays against your team, which probably you can call a proper team eh?, and then we will talk again :)

Despite my last comment, I do think JM is a decent young player. But the hype certain Chelsea fans place on him is utterly ridiculous. Let's just see how he adapts and develops when given the chance, rather than making stupid comparisons so blatantly early in his career. All in good time lads.

Nice comeback to the argument there. McEachran is talented, no one doubts that, but to say he's as good as Wilshere is just absurd. He is completely unproven except at reserve level but he's still better than Wilshere? bias to the max

Although i rate Josh very highly and have very high hopes for him i think you may have gone abit ott.

The difference between the class in Chelsea's current midfield and Swansea's is massive with no disrespect to them at all. Josh has played quite a few CL games which for his age is huge and would be a huge benefit to Swansea.

Best youth player to come out of our acadamy since John Terry without a doubt. But he needs regular games so a loan deal is needed. Wilshere didnt really make an impact until he had his loan deal to Bolton and Josh needs the same.
