thanks :)

'However, Chelsea have cooled their interest, for now, in midfielder Jack Rodwell as they will not go close to the £20million which Everton are expected to demand for the 20 year-old. It may be a deal Chelsea return to at the end of the season, when they may also attempt to sign Everton team-mate Ross Barkley instead.'

hmm..

hmm..

Hands off AVB-they're ours you git!
:P

Err, what? End of Giggsy's career? When was that ;)

Tbh at Lampard's age, Scholes had one of his best seasons in 2006 to 08 and Giggs was majestic in 2006-07 and 2008-09.

And I agree with your post and knowing what a great professional he has been throughout his career, I'm sure he would understand that team comes first before individuals and he will be used to the new "No longer automatic choice" role.

Also AVB should use Lampard properly, like an impact sub or saving him for games where he can make telling contribution. Still Lampard has lot to offer, you can't buy experience and if you want to build a young team you need old heads who have been there and won it.

And finally, I'm a fan of Lampard. I have called him Fat Frank to annoy Chelsea fans, but I have great respect for him. The way he conducted himself after Barca farce was amazing. So I would like to see him play for few more years. If not for Chelsea then at least for any other club bar City and Liverpool.

Thats because Scholes has the intelligence, vision and discipline to lie deep and spray passes all around the park... Lampard just cannot perform that role which is what we need to him to do now, he is always anxious to get forward, problem is age is not on his side but while scholes managed to adapt his game successfull.

Lampard has not done so and as a result he is scoring goals but in the process, slowing the tempo of the team down and also affecting the balance of the first 11 we put on the field because he is occupying a spot on the team roster that should go to a more creative midfielder, dare i say Scholesque Player ;)

I cant resist it sorry (A) (6)

It took Fernando Torres 903 minutes to score his first Chelsea goal. It took Thierry Henry 10 minutes to score on his return to Arsenal.

ahh but remember..

Thierry is only temporary, it is Chamakh who is permanent ;)

I really hope we don't go for Barkley. Don't get me wrong: the kid's a class prospect and he has, imo, everything Rodwell needs to be a word class hopeful. There's 2 big things though:

1) he's not going to get a real game for a number of years, nor is he anywhere good enough for the 1st team atm. We would do better to let Everton train him up then ****** him once that potential has started turning into something more certain.
2) I would hate to see Everton go down. Obviously selling Barkley wouldn't send them down but Moyes needs all the talent he can get atm, if we payed 18/20m for Barkley I can't see them spending even half of that and an injury to Rodwell or Fellaini would leave them in deep **** atm.

Barkley would cost absolute shedloads. Moyes is no fool. Just look at the Lescott transfer. You're talking £30 mill plus here, which just isn't worth it.

If they're going to look towards that kind of money, i'd start with Moutinho tbh

shhhhhhhhhh, dont go giving them ideas!!

Thankfully it seems chelsea scouts have not paid attention to him, so far.

...as far as you know. For all we know, Roman's tying up a 15 mil deal for him as we speak. :)

Of course, the obvious answer to all of this is Josh ******* McEachran. PLAY HIM ALREADY

Josh McEachran's loan deal is nearly tied up according to AVB and he will be spending the next 6 months playing for another PLM club, hopefully his loan deal does not end up like the one Kakuta had at Bolton or PVA had at Wigan but is more similar to Sturridge's one at Bolton

“The only one we have outlined to loan is Josh McEachran and a deal is almost done for him."

Yea id rather have Moutinho than Barkley for that money.

as for Gary, I reaaaally wonder how much his salary will be. Really curious. If its on a level with Ashley or even more, then we just suck at doing business and Gary's agent is a pro at what he does :)

A tweet by Billy Clifford just moments ago while watching Big Brother - Hi I'm jon and hi I'm edward and together we r really f**king annoying

latest reports say Cahill is at the Bridge right now???

couldnt find a link though.. anybody heard the same??

PVA was a little **** who was too big for his boots, "I play for Chelsea so I have to play every game". (He didn't say that, I'm just mocking him).

How so?...Well why say it then?

And are you trying to tell me that PvA didn't deserve to AT LEAST be on the bench.
