Dont you get it that for 100k a week he most definitely wont be a benchwarmer?

What I think is AVB is trying to convert David Luiz to DM and thats why hes buying Cahill to partner JT.. Again, thats only in my head, and there is a big chance to be wrong. However, if thats what hes trying to do, doesnt make any sense, cuz our best DM called ESSIEN is returning in less than a month + we have a hugely talented Oriol.

What Im saying is though, for 100k a week I highly doubt Cahill will be a benchwarmer.

and for 100k(+-) a week we can easily buy another classy (better than Gary) centre back.. Im thinking of Thiago Silva ofc, but Milan wont sell. So what about Hummels? Subotic? Sergio Ramos is unthinkable target so im not gonna mention him. Oops, I just did.

David Luiz would be better as a CM rather than DM, and he'd also be better in his actual position - CB! And if he's trying to convert him he's not doing a very good job; he's NOT ONCE played in a position other than CB - even when Ivanovic was fit. Saying that he could be a good DM/CM/RB, but he'll always be best as CB IMO. As for Essien - he's not a DM - he's a CM.

I'd love Hummels but with the young CBs we have there's not much point.

He is a natural DM:) although he plays more like a box-to-box midfielder, but when Jose bought him back in 2005(?) his natural position was a defensive midfielder, and he played for us as one for many years.. He is a versatile player, I think box-to-box suits him best.

He didnt play DM under Jose, remember a little man called Makelele.

I still remember what that **** Perez said about Maka:

'We will not miss Makélelé. His technique is average, he lacks the speed and skill to take the ball past opponents, and ninety percent of his distribution either goes backwards or sideways. He wasn't a header of the ball and he rarely passed the ball more than three metres. Younger players will arrive who will cause Makélelé to be forgotten.'

and then when Maka was sold to us and RM bought Beckham, Zidane responded:

'Why put another layer of gold paint on the Bentley when you are losing the entire engine?'

ZIZOU LEGEND!!

Makelele? He was a midget! He was well under six foot. Something like five foot seven or eight.

I know, I was just jesting because he was a huge player. It was an ajt-esque joke. I guess it's contagious...

Not true, if it was an ajt joke it would reference something that happened in the 1920s.

SSN saying Cahill on his way to London to complete a medical. Abit strange as he is ment to be playing for Bolton tomorrow.

No, he is a central midfielder...
