hahaha Adebayor is a better striker than Torres, I really don't know what the fuss is ?

Pav is more of a sub at spurs.

Adebayor has been on good form this season and suddenly is better? Since Torres has been in the premier leaguehe has done more and been better then Adebayor overall.
 
how do you work that one out exactly ? Adebayor has scored more goals in the premier league than him not by much.
 
Last couple of seasons whilst Adebayor couldnt get a game at City Torres was Liverpools key man scoring goals but ofcoruse at times was out with injuries. He has only hit 4 goals this season but has had a good season so far he is one of the clubs top assisters and luck just hasnt been on his side like yesterday when his shot instead of flying into the back of the net it hit the bar. Also Chelseas players hardly everpicking him out with good passes doesnt help him one bit.

Let's be fair its not hard for him to get in a Liverpool team isit? whilst City were buying new strikers every window. Now that there's good players at Chelsea he is a bench warmer. Sturridge is much better than Torres in my opinion. I bet your one of those people that actually think he was worth 50 million.

I dont think he was worth £50 million at all. I would of much rather Chelsea bought somebody like Aguero for cheaper but people are too harsh on Torres at times. He isnt playing abd atm but yet people just say he didnt score that game so he was ****. Sturridge has been better this season yes but he isnt quite the better player yet and also Torres has been on the bench recently because Drogba has been scoring goals lately so AVB wont really drop Drogba if he is scoring.
 
So here's my point Torres is in the same position now as Adebayor was in at Man City so what is the difference exactly ? You were adamant that Torres was indeed better than every Tottenham striker when indeed that is not the case at all. Anyway i don't really want to hyjack a thread like this, were both of different opinions no need to continue this.
 
Chelsea needs to buy young players and wonderkinds because they have a old team... they need someone like Ganso, Hamsik, Gotze, Cavani or Neymar

Luiz 24, Mata 23, Torres 27, Ramires 24, Meireles 28, Romeu 20, Cahill 26, Ivanovic 28?, Sturridge 22, plus the likes of Lukaku, Piazon, McEachran etc who have tons of potential.Our team isnt as old as people make out.

Tbf though "Luiz 24, Mata 23, Torres 27, Ramires 24, Meireles 28, Romeu 20, Lukaku, Piazon, Cahill 26" have all joined the club pretty recently and not many people outside of CFC had heard much about "Sturridge 22 or McEachran" before the start of the year. You can see why people think we're still a team of old men, it's the same with the "kids" of Arsenal.

Drogba, Ashley Cole, John Terry, Frank Lampard, Essien(is old and is ever injured), Malouda, Petr Cech(isn't very old for GK, but ins't young too)... your team needs more explosive players.

He wont because he cant. rules arent letting him. but if he could he would, and it would be the right thing tbf.


I think in the summer we will get another striker. Not sure why I think that, just do. I think next summer will be crucial for building a new team, with new players.. AVB knows what he will do. I expect Drogba, Malouda, Kalou and even Ferreira to all leave..

I love it when people dip to the past and don't keep up with the present. What isit with Chelsea fans are you all mad because Tottenham are a better team than you. What's the crack exactly ? You'r talking about 2 strikers that don't even make the starting 11 and are good backup.

Torres isnt a regular starter either, watch some football regularly and talk after. If Torres had started every game, he would have scored a lot more.
