I didn't really realise how fast Drogba was before watching that video, he just bursts past defenders with pace and power. Been a great player for the premiership, I'm sure there's life in the old Drog yet!

same and its a shame he is now in his 30s. Why cant it be possible to make Drogba 18 again so we can have plenty more years of his awesomeness!
Don't worry, you'll always have Fernandon't Scorres!

Reports suggesting Dennis Wise will become sporting directer at Chelsea.

Why didn't Sturridge play last week? What are the chances of him playing this weekend? (For Fantasy team)

Weirdly enough I just started an FM game with this exact idea: I took all the youth and reserve players and put them together in a Championship B team.

I think it's a fantastic idea for us however it's not at all fair on lower league clubs. If everyone brought in a B team, 5/6 of the spots in the Championship would be taken up with the fledglings of the big PL clubs. Also, imagine Lukaku (an 18m striker) playing in the Championship or League 1. You It's ultimately'd have to imagine he'd wreck them, which is rather unfair when a lot of clubs at that level have entire first XI's that cost less than a single one of our players.

I agree, the idea is totally unfair on the LLM clubs because there will be a wide gap in competition between our B Teams and them... LLM clubs will revolt if this idea is even so much as proposed and frankly, I agree with them

I think we need to establish more ties with lower league clubs as feeders, aka we'll send 10 or so youth/reserve players a season out to clubs in league 1/2 and they'll see a lot first team action, rather than having clubs completely composed of our prospects. So yeah I'd like to see the youth and reserves teams kept but playing more competitive matches, but with a **** of a lot more loans.

Ridiculous idea. Another in the recent line of 'back the Premier League, **** the rest.' conveyor belt ideas promoted by foreign management and inevitably supporter by Richard 'the Premier League is a brand' Scudamore.

that depends on LLM clubs as well, I mean think of it this way...

You are an LLM club who is on the verge of breaking into the Premiereship, would you rather buy a player who you know will win you promotion and remain permanently with you or would you take a youth players on loan and let them form the core of your team only to have them all sent back to their parent clubs when you eventually get to the Premiereship

What stops them from doing both? The youngsters would be sent on loan at no cost, it'd allow them to spend their money elsewhere.

Subtle suggested that we agressively loan out players... one problem is that is that there may not be LLM clubs who want them and another problem is that LLM clubs rather fill their first-team with permanent players as opposed to loaned players who after having one good season will probably leave leaving the LLM club to rebuild their core again
