Ryan Bertrand really impressed me though. Hardly put a foot wrong. He looks pretty good.
Dempsey has been a revelation this season. He's going to a big club next season-just such a quality player
Yeah, we was bound to let a goal in. Typical Chelsea defence. We aren't going to let fourth go like this are we?!

Good old Lamps does it again. 150 Goals in the Premier Leauge, the first ever midfielder to reach this milestone. Legend.
Kerim Frei looks also like really good prospect who'll end up somewhere if he keeps this up.
I don't think it was your defence that let you down today.
Ya, sad but true, hopefully we collect a nice fee and buy a striker because that is what we were lacking today.
Worth noting about 25% of these are penalties.
Yeah, I think we've got a few more years of him yet. Needs to grow a bit more, tore Ivanovic apart tonight. Shame he didn't get much support when he went on a few great runs.
Was pretty frustrating going one down after playing so well in the first half. Terry was the only Chelsea player to really impress me with some great blocks and headers. It's a shame as this was probably the weakest Chelsea have been in years so it was a great chance to win. Another annoying thing was the amount of cynical fouls Chelsea were doing when we had the ball. Meireles was one and Lampard another, often when they lost the ball, Lampard went to foul Dembele every time he breezed past him. Meireles was just very insignificant. Pleased with our performance though and a good point earnt.

Alan Shearer scored 260 Premier League goals, 58 of which came from the spot. Where is your criticism for him???
Not a criticism, just something to bear in mind when looking at stats
Lampard's performances have been quite insignificant at times but the penalty will gloss over that. Ramires is wasted on the right.
I totally agree he has been pretty poor this season but we don't have anyone else who is currently better than him in the side. Most of the top scorers in Premier League history took a fair percentage of penalties, even if you take away the penalties 112 goals from centre midfield is something quite remarkable.
Ramires has played the role quite well at times this season but was pretty poor tonight, his touch looked very heavy indeed. Its a tough one with Ramires because you need him in the side 100% but he dose't fit in the two in this 4-2-3-1 as both centre mids are usually defensive/deep creative minded and he is neither.
just on jovetic bit of late news but he scored against ac milan on the weekend and really looks like a player we need, i would much rather him then lucas moura just because i can see lucas becoming more of a robinho and less of a ramires in terms of adapting to the league and his work rate.
Not necessarily. When Lampard plays there he doesn't play that way; he drives forward still, and then the other player sits. Obviously against better teams it's not wise to play that way though. Ramires contributed nothing tonight on the right hand side, unfortunately, usually he does though. I don't think he should play there every game, only when it will suit the game.
I don't see that with Lucas Moura; they're different. Jovetic may well want to play as a striker, too. I know he can play as an AM, but he also plays as a striker, I'm not aware which he prefers, though.

The way i see it is we have a player of Lampard's stature and experience or Meireles who has been woeful or Essien who tragically looks less than quarter of the player he once was. Lampard wins hands down at the moment for me.
Fulham were good, definitely deserved the draw. Chelsea again did not look great, Lampard is hopeless these days, clutching at straws with him in the side. All he done in the game was score a penalty to be honest. Chelsea did look vulnerable in defence again like against Wigan, I think Barcelona will be far too much for this Chelsea side, needs a lot of improving in the summer.
Jovetic started his carrier as a striker, he rarely plays AM role. Through his carrier, he played on various positions, CM, AM, both flanks, and ofc, striker. Very versatile player.
If Chelsea do not qualify for Champions League I doubt these players will want to even sign for them. So the improving in the summer would be very hard as you will not have the players to choose from due to not being in the Champions League. Obviously Chelsea still have a good chance but I think Newcastle look most likely at the moment, they look a better team. (Not saying they are individually, havibng said that I would probably take Ba and Cisse at the moment over Torres and Drogba and I would definitely take Tiote/Cabaye/Ben Arfa over Essien/Meireles/Lampard).
Fiorentina are 15th in the league - only 5 points away from relegation. Jovetic would definitely go to Chelsea. Even if he wasn't happy with no CL football, the money would be a factor. Plus he isn't the kind of world renowned player who can demand CL football because all clubs in the world would want to sign him.
