Bayern are like United, driven to ****** minded stubborn levels. They thrive on this, so do their fans.

They may be but even Utd fans can get on the back of their players, this is not an average game. If things arn't going their way they are 1 down and the ref seems to be giving everything to us they will start going a bit crazy it's normal.

Your saying it like its a fact. Physcology is a funny thing. Just because the players are spurred on in normal league games does not mean that they will experience the same effect in a CL finals especially with the prospect of finishing the season trophyless hanging over their head and being favourites for the match.

Yes they may be spurred on or maybe they might feel the pressure. You cant tell

Sigh the balance is horribly in their favour, this is the point you dont grasp, they have thrives on this time and time again, the odds of them being nervous are much slimmer. Yet you talk its gonna happen. Like i said, stop being so biased and saying they will be under pressure, as if Chelsea are impervious to it. Everything points to Bayern thriving.

That did not look like the case in the German Cup final. They looked lost whenever Dortmund put one past them

Right again, you are focusing on the off chance as opposed to the likelyhood. The likelyhood, as evidenced as how they react, points to a highly driven side.

I never said Chelsea are impervious to Pressure. Not sure why your callimg me biased. I am just saying that they might feel the pressure or they maybe spurred on by it. However your saying that they will definitely be spurred on by it which is not true because of the prospect of a trophyless season and this game being a CL finals

Sorry Cjacko, but Germans doesnt feel pressure. Never did, never will.

Gustavo had a mare. and he isnt playing.

He did have a mare but the whole side didn't play well other wise they would not of got hammered. Boateng was really poor as was Neuer and they both will play.

Not sure what Gustavo's performance has to do with the original point of discussion. One of their players very well might have a nightmare tommorow as well

They are much more likely to be spurred on than under pressure, history and recent performances point to that, yet you keep mentioning they could be under pressure, as if it's more likely.

See this is exactly my point, you keep trying to pick out the flaws, rather than taking an objective view. What about Chelsea coming under pressure in an openly hostile stadium, missing their captain and big players?

Ok fair enough, they will probably be spurred on but we cant say for sure.

Well the scenario that Jacko pointed out was one where the score was 0-0 deep into the game. I never said Chelsea will not feel any pressure neither was I talking about it at any point in time

Bayern will feel pressure, of course they will. Everyone will, it's a champions league final!

I agree, but what i was saying is that they are far more likely to thrive, than crumble. Chelsea shouldnt be hoping for a meltdown.

Oh yeah, Chelsea's best chance is to hope to beat them tactically. Psychology doesn't work on Germans. I do fear that Bayern's attack is too strong, but defensively, they are very weak. Drogba needs to rise to the occasion, as he so often does.

I've got a cheeky double on Chelsea & Blackpool to win :D

Everyone on that pitch will feel the pressure, it is THE final of THE best and THE most important competition in European football.

They've kept their coolness at Bernabeo and won the shootout. You really expect favors from them? Don't.
If someone should be under pressure, its Chelsea. Away game, 'leader' is out as is your talisman Ramires. Plus, if you lose, Di Matteo is history. You may say you are underdogs, but do you really think Abramovich gives a **** about it? He wants this trophy badly. Players are aware of that, RDM is aware of that, even you, fans, are aware. So, this is probaby the biggest game of your lifes. I bet some players are shaking.

They won the shootout because they are German!!!!! One of our leaders is out, we still have Cech, Cole, Lampard and Drogba.
