That's true. If you were listening/reading Michael *** or Jonathan Wilson and they expressed surprise that Mikel did well, then I retract my statement. Otherwise, no.

I actually like Guillem Balague and Gary Neville as well as pundits, that about it though.

Can't say anything more than what Sunil said. I agree with him a single bit. Congratulations to Chelsea! Can I ask something why does every Chelsea fan love Terry whatever he does?

Why do Utd fans love Giggs whatever he does??? People makes mistakes in life it's as simple as that. Yes i fully admit he makes more than most but on a footballing side to things the man is our most successful captain and also a fan of the club we love. WHY WOULDN'T WE LOVE HIM?

Are we your biggest rivals or something oO)

No, we just dislike the scouse "country".

That's because you were usually a second tier team before Abramovic.

Haven't been a second tier team since 1988/89 and actually started winning trophies on a regular basis back in 1997 onwards not from 2003.

Well think if Drogba never scored that equaliser, you would of gone out without a whimper. It was effective, but is it something that will retain success in the future having that approach to a game? That is all I am trying to say.

We are currently playing to our advantages, this side is not the best in Europe not even close. But it ****** well knows how to keep out the best in Europe, maybe with a few more attacking additions teams will have no choice but to leave one or two extra men back and change their game plan. At this moment in time we won the way we had to.

I have a feeling the quotes may have been worked a bit which is rather unlikely but still... Firstly Torres apparently said he 'expected to start' the final. Not sure why considering that Drogba was in great form and it was unlikely that Di Matteo would move away from his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation

Then Torres says he 'wanted to take a penalty'... not sure why he suddenly feels the urge to take one considering he never takes penalties and he was disappointed when the club refused. Sounds funny because why on earth does he suddenly want to take the penalty considering he has never volunteered before

He did praise the fans and owner for sticking by him but looks like he wants to play a bigger part next season. He has only himself to blame for his bit-part role this season though but he should be our main striker next season if Drogba leaves which looks likely

Is this the same Fernando Torres who turned down a chance to take a penalty at Birmingham this season? I have stood by him but the fact he can question being left on the bench for both finals when the man who played instead of him scored in both games is just shocking.

My dads just said to me do I think Drogba's the greatest Chelsea player ever, he saw Osgood and the like and he thinks so. Thoughts?

Special mention to the bloke who was slating Mikel pre game. Him and Lamps were the best players on the pitch bar Ash Cole.

I bought this up yesterday too, i didn't see Osgood but i saw Zola's Chelsea career but i most definitely put Drogba top of my list. Not just the amount of goals and medals he has won but the important goals in cup games especially finals, he has to be the best for me.

Julian Dicks once said that Lampard needed to go to the Euros ahead of Carrick because he had a "good engine". I wanted to reach through my TV and punch him in the throat.

Interesting to see where Chelsea go, while they will want to savour their victory, they wont have too much time, since other clubs are already preparing for next season, need to make a decision on their manager or be left behind.

That doesn't stop us Mike you know better than that, if we want a player manager or no manager it is happening lol.

Lol, dont joke, the players are already asking for Di Matteo! But seriously, and i like him a lot, that cannot be the reasoning you keep him.

No, he needs to have a plan in place to try and move these players on and i think looking at some of his team selections he is willing to do that. He played Ryan Bertrand in a champions league final lol, i bet Wiki crashed with Bayern fans trying to find out who he was before the game!!!!

And that's why no one will ever take your opinions seriously Mike- You just don't appreciate a good engine when you see one. :)

apparently in the pictures he looks unhappy? where the **** are they getting this from and what pictures are they looking at?

Quite a few rumours around the club.

Firstly, the Hazard story has resurfaced. He has bascially pimped himself out again. Cant really be bothered with hin anymore, he obviously has a very good agent who does a good job of ensuring he is always in the news. If we get him then good enough. If we dont then there are many more talented and cheaper players out there. Link to story is here

Also some more AVB bashing by the one of Chelsea's Youth players coming up. Lukaku made some statements to the Belgian Press after our CL win and basically he threw more mud at AVB. He said things like how AVB repeatedly played him out of position in training and never communicated with him on his role at the club or his development.

I am very interested to see exactly what kind of plan AVB had at Chelsea that involved playing one of our brightest prospects out of position and not communicating or explaining his decisions to him. On the plus side Lukaku joins the growing list of Chelsea stars who are keen for Di Matteo take the job. Did AVB get along with anybody?

Also apparently Roman was delighted and very emotional at Chelsea's win. He told the players in the dressing room that this was just the beginning and elements at the club reinforce the notion that Roman is more determined than ever to rebuild the club and ensure another period of success. Also the players made it clear to him that Di Matteo has their full support and they want him to take the full-time job

Whilst I agree with you that there has been far too many stories relating to Hazard, I do not think you can attach the blame to the player himself, it could be the people surrounding him. I believe it was the same when Rooney had that contract saga witht United, it was all caused by his agent and co. Not sure whether I agree either when you say "there are many more talented" he is one of the best, if not the best young attacking midfielder out there at the moment.

Regarding AVB I just don't know what to think anymore, to be honest I still think there is more underneath the surface because of the 'non-disclosure agreement' he had to sign. But that is my opinion, I guess we will see how he does whereever he ends up going. The truth of the matter is, we will never know what really happened behind the scenes, although I do think the older players have way too much control over the club.

Just goes to show what a **** AVB was, and to be quite honest, I'm delighted he was kicked, because if he wasnt, we wouldnt have won the FA and most importantly the CL. I;ve respected him since the beginning (i've said this several times) and backed him till the end, but that cannot continue. Every day new stories hit me in the face, how he played Lukaku out of position and basically tried to ruin his development, how he didnt like Mikel and didnt spoke to him, how he treated Anelka and Alex.

That drama about Hazard turned into a soap opera.

I agree with you mate. The general assumption was that AVB had a breakdown in communication with the senior players. But then suddenly you have all these things coming out like how the youth players disliked him and players like Ramires and Mata felt the team was short of confidence under him which is just a diplomatic way of saying that they disliked his managerial style

AVB was forced to sign the non-disclosure agreement because things must have really got out of hand. The Lukaku interview proves that it was not only the senior players but seemingly the young guns who revolted as well. AVB needs to refine his managerial style; this ruthless style of his wont work at Liverpool either

On the Hazard saga, I am just tired of it to be honest. He can go off wherever he wants this summer, personally hoping he goes to Manchester United because I know they will never spend 40m each on two players in a single summer so that we can get Modric!

If you read my link you can see that Lukaku really had strong words against AVB. It hit me in the face as well because I felt Lukaku had no problems with the man but this just shows how deep-rooted and widespread the negative feelings against AVB had become in the Chelsea squad. No wonder Roman was forced to get rid of him

I'd still take Hazard in a heartbeat. He's an amazing player and with him and 2 other signings we would have a squad capable of challenging for everything next year.

30m is also a bit of a steal for him. That might sound stupid but I have no doubt he will continue to excel in England and he eventually wants to end up at Madrid. I doubt we'd have to sell him for anything less than we paid for him and we'd probably get a lot more.

Good to see we have loads of interesting possibilities now that we have won the CL. With Roman promising more investment I would love to see Hazard/Modric/Azpilicueta come to the club. With those 3 players, Chelsea will once again be a force in England and Europe

Just imagine. Modric sitting in-front of the defence supplying a front 4 of Torres, Mata, Hazard and Ramires. **** Yes! And in the meantime we can develop McEachran for the regista role.

Not to forget that Marin is coming in. Piazon and Feruz have progressed leaps and bounds this season. Kalas has done ever so well on loan and is one of the main reasons Vitesse is in the Europa League. Courtois is one of the best young keepers in the world. I personally think the brightest generation of youth players are coming through at Chelsea. It is upto us to make sure they dont go to waste

Will be tough battle on him with Real and maybe even United though they dont have cash reserves enough for serious spending this summer.

Do Real Madrid need Modric? They have Xabi Alonso. It will be a tough battle between us and United this summer for his signature. Good thing is that United have yet to show any firm interest while we have always been long-term admirers of Modric.

I dont think anybody can argue though that Modric would improve either United or Chelsea way more than Hazard

No they dont really need him, but still I think they will go for him. They have the money for him so why not. Also that leaves Sahin free to move to Milan which I'm hoping for.

But yes I agree if Chelsea and United had to choose between Modric and Hazard it should be Modric all day long.

Ashley Cole is the best left-back out there. He has been fantastic with me and I've learned so much from him. He's a top man. We developed a good relationship and he trusts me a lot,' Betrand said

Great to see Betrand happy. Lad has had to wait for his chance at Chelsea by going on six loan deals but he was patient and he took his chances when they came and when he repayed the confidence RDM had in him.

Now he is European Champion. Good to see he has got respect for the senior guys on the team too
