lool, Vincent is not a youth player, and not a good prospect; he's 27, and he's been without a club for around 2 years (I think)

However, he has been capped with Ivory Coast, so that tells you that he's not completely awful. He's a keeper and I think the only reason he has signed is so that we could get his highly-rated brother. However, he's a good addition in a way, because who knows, he could prove to be an OK backup (unlikely, but if he's 4th/5th choice it won't matter too much), and having him allows Blackman and Walker to go out on loan. I know the plan is to allow Walker to go on loan, but I'm not sure about Blackman. I guess we'll try and find a club for him to go to, also he can be used as a training keeper.
Other than highlights, I am yet to re-watch the final. It was the best night of my life, but for some reason I can't bring myself to watch it. Still doesn't feel right.
We're not overpaying; we're paying Oscar's valuation, if we got him for anything under the reported fee it would be imo – as the transfer market currently is – a bargain. There's no need at all to worry about FFP. I know not many like Gourlay (I don't love him, but no one actually ever produces a valid reason for disliking him), but I think he and Buck and the rest have it all under control. Look at all the new sponsorship we've got, the wage bill cutting, the CL revenue, etc. I have no worry at all about our current financial situation.
I doubt he's on that much, at least guaranteed. I'd imagine included conditions it will add up to that much per week, but I doubt it's 60-70k straight up. Don't forget that Juan Mata is in that wage bracket.
I have no worries about his attitude. It's quite the opposite of some of his fellow Brazilian talents, and he works much harder than them on the pitch, and I presume on the training pitch, too.
With David Luiz in our team, I doubt he'll have much problem settling in! Sure he'll get on well with Piazón too, being a similar age, and Rami too. And there won't be a major position change I wouldn't think. Will be more gradual, I think. Sure he'll adapt to a change of position just fine though; he's played various positions already in his short career, and the problem imo, for him, is getting him to be more responsible and disciplined – knowing when to stay in position and when to go attack.
I'm not sure they would, the said the price they'd accept in January, but the manager said he think Willian is better than Hazard (lol), so why shouldn't they pay more than they have offered because we paid a lot for Hazard. He's just talking a load of rubbish, tbh.
