The McEachran deal is a no-go for me. Dont really know how Middlesbrough play but I would rather we loan him out to a top division side.
 
Frank Lampard, Daniel Sturridge, Gary Cahill and Ryan Bertrand have all been called up to the england squad. Happy to see Sturridge back n the squad and it's the first time Bertrand has been called up I believe so very happy for him.

Betrand deserves it. Was superb for us whenever he got the chance last season and was quality during the Olympics as well. He has a legitimate chance of being Englands next Left-Back after Ashley Cole

Also happy to see Sturridge back. Sturridge really needs to work on his decision-making though, after a good deal of reading and watching some videos, I think he has all the tools to develop into a complete player but needs to learn when to pass,shoot etc.

I would rather he get games at a lower level rather than sit on the bench for a EPL club. Last season was a wasted one for McEachran. Hardly got a look in under AVB and spent the next 6 months warming his *** on the Swansea bench

He is still young though, however I feel that another 1-2 bad seasons and he might fade away like Sinclair,Mancienne etc. which would be a shame as I truly believe he can develop into a quality regista
 
Fully deserved for Bertrand to get a call-up, at this moment in time for me he is number one for Cole replacement not just for Chelsea but for England too.

I understand the need for minutes and completely agree with you, I just dont think Middlesbrough or even any team in the Championship is the best place for him right now. I mean what role will he even be playing the in Middlesbrough team plus he is premiership quality IMO.

The last thing anyone of us Chelsea fans want is another wasted talent.
 
I know Josh will get a lot of games at Boro but i just think he can do better (no disrespect to Boro at all). I am thinking maybe someone like Wigan who like possession football and are on a shoe string budget.

Don't think we are really keen to send another youngster to Wigan after they the PVA mess

Agree with you but I heard some Chelsea fans say he is at that weird place where he is maybe too good for the Championship but not EPL quality yet

Dont really agree with that tbh, he is definitely EPL quality IMO just dont know to what extent.

Dont really see anything wrong with Wigan besides the PVA mess. Maybe a double deal to WBA with Lukaku?
 
Lukaku's season long loan to West Brom has been confirmed. Good to see us helping out Steve Clarke and this is just what he needs.
 
Romelu Lukaku has joined West Brom on a season-long loan. Expect a replacement before the transfer window closes

I have a feeling it will be either one of Schurrle/Moses. Schurrle has the added bonus of being able to play striker if needed. So that would leave us with three central strikers in Torres/Sturridge/Schurrle.

Doubt its Lewandowski tbh. He would just block Lukaku's development. Not to mention he can't play anywhere else either

But yeah happy with the Lukaku deal. He gets to play under a quality coach in Steve Clarke at a decent EPL club where he should get minutes.

I think it's Moses as Leverkusen are no closer finding replacement for Schurrle.

Bertrand isnt better than Baines, not by a long shot.

I think what he meant is that Bertrand is the future as Baines is probably not going to be at the top for more than 4-5 years and therefore cannot be characterized as a replacement for Cole

Slightly premature to compare considering Betrand has only got opportunities to prove himself in the last 6 months under RDM. Next season will be telling
