Because I know how the club works and have a decent idea where they are trying to go in the next few years. We will never give Hazard/Oscar the same wages as Terry and Lampard. We actually want to comply with the FFP and become financially stable

Believe what you want.... I made a few educative guesses coupled with what I know about how the club is trying to reshape itself. We would never pay Hazard, Oscar as much as Terry/Lampard and we will never pay them more than Mata.

How did Lukaku score? Was it a good goal Nick or just a tap-in etc. My TV had to breakdown today :'(

An easy header into the net.
So far he looked very sharp, should also have one assist credited after burning Carra on the wings but Morrison fails to convert...

Happy he scored either way though. Will do his confidence a world of good especially after his first season with us.

Yea, pretty much what fuhua said. He gave brilliant ball for Morrison, but he couldnt find the net. Looking very, very sharp, indeed.
 
Actually I thought the Lukaku goal was quite good - simple goal, but it was a good cross by (I think it was him) Ridgewell and Lukaku's header was very, very well placed.

Does not matter though, he is our player now and hopefully he does well. Has he potential to be a real world-class player in the next few years. You don't get Madrid, Man Clubs and Chelsea after your signature if you are not good

Yes, he was linked with Spurs, but they pulled out, I believe (may be wrong, but I don't think so).

Hmm, maybe he allowed them, but it's not as simple as allowing them or not allowing them. He praised them when asked about them; it's not as though he brought them up for no reason. And the praise he gave them was pretty generic, usually. I would say it was definitely 'little'. He played the media, but it wasn't like it was anything serious. Ask stupid questions, get stupid answers, and that's what Hazard gave the media. And he didn't really hype himself up that much, no more than any other player. You could say Oscar has hyped himself up (I don't think he has, but you could say he has).

Of course, and I'm sure he will do very well. I've watched him a lot, and I'm sure he'll be world-class very soon (IMO, he has world-class ability now, but depends on what you call world-class).

Me too, and Witsel probably wouldn't be quite that much, either. Maybe with add-ons it would reach that much, I suppose. Younger, will be better, imo, so would prefer him. But, I'd prefer not to sign a CM.

They're 100% not on that much, but they are on more than Mata (well, Hazard, not sure about Oscar, but I'd think Oscar's around Mata's wage or over). Mata is on quite a small wage (in comparison), which I'm sure will be improved soon.
