Good to see that Jamie Redknapp still knows nothing about the game he gets payed incredible amounts of money to talk about.

i didnt see pre match so i cant talk about this certain statement, but in my opinion Redknapp is a very good pundit

I have no reason to see why it would be a joke, most the pundits are there for a reason, either there experience playing the game or being apart of it for so long

Or to say **** on MOTD2, a-la Ljunberg.

Doesn't mean they're good at their job. You don't need to have been a horse in order to have be a jockey, and likewise you don't need to have been a horse to be a racing pundit on the side of the course. In an ideal world we'd have a panel of people like Jonathan Wilson providing analysis and some properly insightful colour pundits alongside him, with people swapping in and out when their expertise is called for: Honigstein could be called in for matches against German clubs, for example. Instead, we have people like Shearer, Redknapp and Crooks, whose only qualifications are that they played football to a varying degree of quality.

either there experience playing the game

That's the limit of Redknapp's expertise. He's fine when he's talking about how it feels to be a player on a certain occasion but the second it goes deeper he almost always says something cringeworthy.

Deary me that was a gift. Chels back in front.

Oh and a wonderful save from Cech from Podolski, wonderful.

Good change. Adds width and directness + Oscar was looking a little tired.

Mikel and Ramires were very impressive today in the double pivot.

Yeah, they'll need time to adapt to playing as a pair but there's definitely potential. The only real issue is that Ramires' passing isn't quite good enough. It will be a very solid pivot until Oscar is ready though.

I love Oscar. He's my type of player, man love.
