I find it kind of funny how RDM fielded a very strong line-up just to try and win this game yet Fergie obviously was not taking it too seriously, just look at the United bench no game-changers on there like Van Persie or Rooney etc.

I think you also took into account you have a big game against Arsenal this weekend.

But you can't win with some people. You get blasted for fielding weaker teams in the cup then when you field a strongish team people still try to use it against you.

It was a weakened side, but It's one that SAF thought could get a result, and nearly did. Chelsea were simply the better side

He still put out a side that he thought could win the game. A few players like scholes would have been on the bench, but they have yellow cards hanging over them, and he didnt want them risking a booking and being suspended for the ARsenal game.

Not really imo.... 3 of those goals came as a result of stupid defensive errors. Cech making a suicidal pass. Luiz going on a dumb run and Azpilicueta making what looked like a careless tired tackle. The 4th goal was just class and have our defense all over the place

You say that but utds attack was still very good last night. Hernandez is a fantastic striker who has a great record against us so no surprise he was on the scoresheet and his strike partner Welbeck is also a very good talent and also nani is a good player and seems to perform when he plays against us.

You would also think, in general, no one would be stupid enough to do this in the front row of a football match where there is obviously going to be a lot of cameras. Even if he was just larking around with his mates, he could well have just been making a joke and doing the gesture ironically.

Or he could just be a racist idiot, which is more likely, and he will be banned from the ground as the picture is incredibly clear so I imagine they will be able to catch him sooner rather than later.

Its a direct reference to the unwavering support of Terry, and the manner of it, especially the way Anton was chanted at and booed even when in the wrong and accused of saying something racial in nature to a player. That is the whole point, its a tongue in cheek dig at your banners.

For a year, all you heard was captain, leader, legend. Even on this forums. Now its a Chelsea player who may have been abused. Shoe's on the other foot now.

I can bet every single penny I have to my name that he was not racist to Mikel. And when it gets found out to be a load of **** then Clattenburg will sue Chelsea and not only that but the FA wont be happy. Chelsea football club has terned into an absolute disgrace

To be honest I'd disagree. Football as a whole is being dragged through the gutter in more than one quarter
