Props to you Alcaraz for agreeing that there were a lot of things which could have been done better and more transparently, I think when fans of the club in question start actually saying 'We deserve higher standards' then things may actually start to happen and you can be proud to support your club anywhere through what they represent - and that to have positive connotations.

Regarding Tevez, they fined him for every week he was away, but they couldn't do much beyond that and he had a healthy bank account to keep him in golf kit ...

I don't know where most journalists are saying they're faking allegations, I have just heard they are septical and think the referee would be an idiot to have done so. The good news is that since the police and government have become involved it's very high profile, and it's likely they want to stop all these racism headlines (while of course, turning the media off other sticky issues closer to home) and cannot afford another scandal of "Oh he was guilty but we let him off". If he's guilty even of something minor then it's going to be a problem.

Has anyone thought he might have said "cheeky monkey"? Something I'm sure referees feel to a great degree with a lot of players and an English expression. I realise its a little early to speculate at this point, but it's certainly a more likely use of the word/phrase and is likely being looked into, being his regional background is what it is.

I kind of thought the same thing. But the question is, are referees allowed to use that exact phrase? And would JT have been called a racist if he used that phrase? Interesting indeed, I'm looking forward to hearing what exactly Clattenburg said.

If saying 'Cheeky Monkey' is racist then I might just **** myself.

Exactly my thoughts. But people are beyond sensitive these days.

Apparently Ramires heard him say "shut it monkey", could have been shut it mikel, goes to show we dont yet know whats been said. so we just have to see what the investigation brings.

Plus, I don't think Ramires speaks and understands English very well. I really don't think Clattenburg is that much of an idiot to say something like that. It's probably the latter. We're pretty much guessing what he's said, so we must wait, indeed.

The club has gone great lengths to ensure we have a leg to stand on during the investigation by hiring an independent lawyer to conduct an internal investigation before proceeding with accusations so I don't think they are merely guessing

Still scored and when he plays you are near enough 100% sure he will go for goal unlike a certain number 9 plus I have always preferred Sturridge over Torres

He himself admitted that he was lacking sharpness infront of goal due to lack of match practice. This could be the big break he was looking for and now has the ide opportunity to stake his claim in the CF role. Hopefully he makes good use of it

He proved playing RW last season he can score goals I believe he was one of our top scorers when being played regular at RW under AVB? If he could score the amount of goals he did playing regular at RW I am confident if he plays well and starts games on a more regular basis upfront he can score a lot of goals for us.

Considering Mikel was closer and didnt hear, that may not yet turn out to be true. If he has said it, then he deserves whatever sanctions comes his way.

Worrying times for Chelsea when they put out their 2 1'st choice center backs atm with Terry suspended and Cech in goal and still let in 4 goals against United's 2nd team... :/

So much **** was made that this was Utd's reserve team and was it bollocks!!! How many games have Hernandez, Welbeck, Anderson, Giggs, Nani, Rafael, Lindegaard etc played in the reserved between them this season! All have tonnes of pl and cl expeirance more than even who we fielded.

Statement from Chelsea "We are completly against all forms of racial discrimination". Yeah thats why all you did was fine Terry... Basically its not okay to be racist at Chelsea as long as your not an important player.

Atleast we fined Terry when all Rio got for for his racist tweet was a clip round the ear!

I also dont like how RDM has someone to hold his hand in every single press conference. Whats the matter, Chelsea scared of everyone finding out the truth?

Look i am not on here much these days but been around a while and have never seen your name before but your just a clown seriously. What do you even mean when you say he takes someone in with him to hold his hand, every club has a communications officer in press confrences with them and if another player goes with him its because he is the one the media would rather speak with. Just browsing through your comments it's clear to see your have an agenda against Chelsea which is fine but its cringy worthy seeing some of your comments.

In other news... Luiz and Mata doubtful for Swansea game. With Terry and Brana suspended, it probably means team mascot Paulo Ferreira will be playing CB. Awesome

Brana is avalable, back 4 of Cole, Brana, Cahill and Azpilicueta.

It was a straight red, so should be 3 games.

Should be and i still thought it was tbh, wasen't until i saw on a Chelsea page on FB that it was only one game which i am pretty chuffed with.

Look at it this way- I doubt he can be worse than Torres

I just don't think Chelsea, at a time when it is working hard to rebuild it's reputation, would pursue such a accusation without solid evidence. Either way we should come to know soon. If Clattenburg is found not guilty, well the knives have already been sharpened for us

If Ramires was convinced that that is what he heard, then they would pursue it. whether that is the case remains to be seen. But if Ramires was certain, then Chelsea would feel there would be a case to answer. I'm hoping it was something that was misheard, but I have no sympathy for Clatternburg if he actually said. I dont see any issue so far with Chelsea actually making a case, certainly nothing that makes it seem like a vendetta. The reason people are critical is because of the sharp contrast to the way aspects were handled with Terry.

.

I'm happy to have a sensible debate with you but if you are going to resort to personal snipes then I won't bother.

They dont play for United's reserve team and I never said they did but they did I said they are the 2nd team. I meant that the players that played with the exception of Rafael they dont start week in week out. This shows how good United's squad is and the reason they will win the league this year.

Rio's tweet wasent racist. It was slang and he meant it as Cole was liking Terry's **** (which he was)

How often does a press officer ask SAF or Wenger a question and someone else answers for him? I saw a press conference today of RDM and the guy answered so many questions for him. RDM was just about to speak and the guy buts in. Also remember watching a press conference about Terry and I dont think RDM answered more than 3 questions.

I don't have anything against Chelsea but the way they have treated the Terry incident and others is absolutly disgraceful.

This has to be one of the most succinct and even minded summations of this whole debacle.

I dont see how saying Ashley is John Terrys choc ice means he was **** licking him. Also do you blame Ash backing his team mate? If it was say Vidic in a situation being accused of being racist Rio would most likely back him.

I don't mind Cole backing his team mate if Terry was innocent.

Well he was found innocent in a court of law. It still really has not been 100% proved he was racist and unless he does ever actually come out and say yes I did racially abuse Anton Ferdinand every Chelsea fan will back him.
