Kind o pointless to keep Sturridge around, Rafa won't sub Torres even when he's so tired he breaths through his armpits.

It's what i have been saying all along bud, the whole thing will become a farce! On the plus side i have just got my Southampton tickets!
 
Anyone else thinks we should take a look at Leighton Baines now that Cole is leaving. It might be a wee bit early for Bertrand and I think Baines will jump at a move to a bigger club at this stage in his career.

That would be my reaction to getting Baines.
 
Baines would be a quality replacement to Cole, I'd argue that he is the superior player at the moment but that's just my opinion.

Very happy at Everton, United were sniffing around for a whole year. He's more keen on taking Everton to new heights than leaving.
 
And how much would Madrid want for him?

I'd rather have Baines: he's English, he's still got 3/4 years of top flight football left in him, he's a much better crosser than Coentrao, he's good defensively as well as going forward. Seriously why choose Coentrao?

Would probably be the same price as Baines. If he gets fed up being second choice to Marcelo, who knows.

He's having good run in first team at the moment. Started 4 of the last 5 and scored against Espanyol.
 
Reportedly Sturridge told Chelsea fans at Cobham this morning he is off to Liverpool.
 
I'm not suprised at that. I would be ****** off if I was him. Even when Torres has been **** in games this season he didnt get a chance to come on as a sub or start the next game. How many games has he actually started this year other than the games and how many games has he come on as a sub other than the league cup games?
 
Looking forward to today's game. Hoping for a well-contested, fair game with no injuries, and hopefully this fixture produces at the kind of excitement level it has over the past few years.
