Klopp maybe because as good as Dortmund are Chelsea are a step up.

I'd say Capello is the only top proven manager who would come to Chelsea. I'm talking CV wise hence Klopp isn't there yet as he only has Mainz and Dortmund.

12 games is hardly a big enough sample to draw conclusions. If you want to look at short term, Di Matteo went 4 games without a win - Rafa hasn't, so maybe Di Matteo should have gone after all. Even worse, was it not 1 win in 8 when he went? Significantly worse than Rafa's 7 in 12. RDM had a record of 24 wins in 42, a win rate a percentage point short of Rafa's. Statistics are wonderful when you're manipulating them to show what you want them to.
At least there's not a young, talented manager who recently cost £30m in total compensation who's been forced to sell his best player and is currently outperforming you with significantly less resources. Oh wait.
My take on AVB was right man wrong time and i stick to that. AVB with the players we currently have would have suited each other much more.
He was 3 months away from being in a position to have those players, hardly "wrong time".
I guess AVB is just the culmination of Chelsea's short termism, showing the beginning of everything people have been able to see for years except for Chelsea. You've gone through the low supply of quality managers available in under a decade, leaving yourself with less than a handful to choose from, the eventual lucky winner being one who hasn't been employed in years and is despised by the fans. Bravo.
And a short termism which as annoying as it is at times being a fan has been successful.
Well, it'd be pretty awful if you focused everything on short term success and didn't even get that.
