True enough, didn't realise he was only 10 short of the 203 he needs at the time. Don't see him making it before the end of the season but would be nice if he did, still a selfish **** though
This still going on? lol. I think the words mountain and molehill spring to mind. Ba will have other chances to get a hattrick-if is knee doesn't explode of course. With Lampard though it's a once in a lifetime oppurtunity to be the clubs leading scorers. Cut him some slack

At the game lol, my first competitive away game!
There was some anti rafa chants and there will always be. Like i keep saying its a personal issue not tactical.
Seriously do one lol, a man who is probably in his last season who wants to be this clubs all time top scorer is entitled to a penalty when the game is 100% safe.
He got dropped during the AVB era and whenever questioned about it (countless number of times) he stated it was the managers decision and he respected it and will try hard to get back into the side. Wonder where you saw the "Franks fault AVB got sacked" reports......

Just got back from what was my first competitive away game and all I can say is WOW! Loved every second of it and a thousand times better than any home game I have attended for sure even with the result aside! I hate to gloat but as early days as it is there was a reason 18 months ago I said we should snap up Ba...... The atmosphere was electric from bouncy to carefree to European Champions to smoke bombs it was absolutely buzzing! From the minute we went 1 down we started playing and tore Scum (i can say that as i live in Pompey) apart. Hazard, Mata, Moses and Ba were sensational today and that is the reason why you cannot leave Mata and Hazard out of the starting 11 at the same time Rafa! UTC and that will not be my last away game attended this season 100% and i will make sure of that!

Sorry, I didn't mean to create chaos from one tongue in cheek statement! Seriously though, I know Lampard's chasing a phenominal record, but you cannot deny that it was selfish to do so. I, personally, would have given Ba the penalty. I really hope Frank makes it, although I still can't see it happening.
Ba didn't even think twice about asking for it, if so it may have been different. Lamps deserves every penalty.

I'd imagine they've been close to wanting to discuss it for some time, Chelsea still need him and he'll still play a part next season even if they bring in more players (which looks likely) and Lampard himself will want to stay to get the goals he needs seeing as though he's so close.
Getting rid of Lampard is nonsensical. Yeah, he doesn't fit the shape Chelsea are trying to play, and yeah, he's never going to age with the same grace Scholes has, but he can offer in different ways. He's still the finest goalscoring midfielder of his generation, and one of the best ever, and that kind of extra threat off the bench is invaluable if Chelsea need to chase games. Torres/Ba are relied on to score, Mata can chip in with a few, but no one can provide such a consistent threat as Lampard.

Mirror (I know) reporting Isco to Chelsea. That'd just be unfair on football. It'd also be pretty ridiculous having - Oscar, Mata, Hazard, Moses and Isco fighting for 3 places.
I thought I'd just entertain the idea of having 4 of the best young (if Mata can be classed as young anymore in football terms) attacking talents in the world in one team. And Moses.

Maybe he is, but not because of taking that pen. Surely making a record that may as well last for next 50 years is a bigger deal than hattrick for new player.
The rest of players are most likely aware how close he is and wont mind him taking pens and freekicks. And he's pretty **** good at both anyways.
