The youth team just beat Liverpool at Anfield 2-0 in the 1st leg of the FA youth cup. Two late goals by Kiwomya.

What line up are we all hoping for tomorrow?

I want to see Cech Azpi Luiz Ivanovic Bertrand Ramires Mikel Oscar Mata Hazard Ba

Seen alot of fans on twitter saying they want to see Rami and Lamps in midfield together tomorrow well yes if they want our midfield to be torn apart then I understand :S

What do you expect , average Chelsea fan on da internet still thinks that:
-Mikel isn't doing anything
-squad rotation is some bizzare continental novelty
-Rafa is strong-arming the squad to play 4-2-3-1, despite Di Mateo playing the same formation.

Didn't deserve to win today only started playing the last 20 minutes. Oh and I hope Aguero has a nice ban heading his way the horrible little ****.

He came for trophies and he will leave with none. Glory hunting spaz. Gtfo of our club.

What are you complaining about now? Or do Chelsea not want trophies either?

He came here to do a job, he is actually doing it.

All that "resting the big names for the cups" is not paying off is it? Telling you Mike, he doesn't care about top 4 finish and you can see that. All he came for was those 4 trophies - and how many did he manage to win? 0? None? Sacrificing top 4 for "trying to win 4 trophies" is not going to make us like (though that is an incredibly strong word) him.

Yeah because you guys aren't still in the Europa League or huge favorites to win it or anything...

Wouldn't say huge, but being favourites =/= a guaranteed trophy. Barca were favourites to win CL last year, and what happened?

Ok well let's say this then. If you guys don't win the Europa League Rafa will just end up getting more flack for not winning that as well. If I was him I wouldn't have even thought about taking the job because no matter what he did even if he won all the trophies that he could you guys would still hate him. **** you guys could have went unbeaten the rest of the season and he still wouldn't have any support from the supporters.

Not really. Do not exaggerate. Maybe winning FA Cup and EL + top 4 finish will make me (personally) hate him a little bit less. A tiny bit less. Can't deny that.

So what did Rafa do wrong today?

Mata, Hazard, Ba, Azp, Oscar all played, Torres didn't start, no Lampard and Mikel sitting in CM together.

He doesn't want trophies he just wants a top 4 finish.

Nonsense. It is paying off, or you would be filled with injuries. The fact it, City were just better than you. Nor has he sacrificed top 4. You've just made that up! Who actually said he came just for those cups? Is this another thing people have made up about him?

What he is doing is rotating a small and unbalanced squad through the most number of games played in a season in their history.

Quoted for amusement factor. I didn't know you were such a closeted Arsenal fan! Trophies are over rated anyway, top four is where it's at.

And an actual response is 'resting big names for cups'.. well, you are playing the current league champions, it was never going to be a stomp, they were playing with energy as it was the only trophy they have left to win this season. Just because you rest a couple of players and played midweek it's hardly going to be a stomp, and 2-1 was hardly embarrassing.

Nice to see Kompany is such a big fan of Fernando.

This is what Mancini thought was a free-kick to City!

I would kind of agree with you but all that goes out the window when he uses only one of his 3 allotted subs! He has done this on so many occasions and if he does make all 3 the first is just past 80 minutes. How much can 10 minutes rest do honestly? He has contradicted himself time and time again which this "rotation" policy mate. I wholeheartedly agree that he has a small squad and that is not his fault, do i think he has rotated them properly? No not at all.

Now i feel calm i can have my say. Yes i am f****d off with Foy, yes Aguero should have been sent off and yes we should have had a penalty but this game was lost in the first hour due to our own teams faults and the fact that City are just a better squad than us. This wasn't helped by Azpi having his worst performance in a Chelsea shirt and Oscar playing very very poorly again and due to Oscar playing this pushes Hazard wide right when he is far more effective wide left. This also wasn't helped by the "interim one" making only one sub AGAIN!!!!!! Oscar playing very poorly with us in need of a goal, if only we had a finisher on the bench who can pop up with a goal out of nothing........ For me Lampard and Moses should have come on to give us fresh legs and City something else to worry about. I was impressed with the last 30 odd minutes but the game was already lost by then, we can't keep giving sides like this head starts. This team is in transition and a huge part of transition is stability and that went right out the window when the numpties who run our club sacked Robbie.
