3-3 Dzeko. A Chelsea side under Rafa throwing away a lead? Well this is new..............

And the inevitable happens! 4-3 to City Micah Richards with a late winner.

Although it was "post season" and was only a friendly Rafa "the interim one" Benitez made his biggest error as Chelsea manager and arguably in his managerial career. Something which is not even done at Sunday League, School Boy or even Soccer Tots level. Making subs (which included swapping keepers) whilst defending a corner! As little as i think of Rafa even i was stunned when he done this, that was an all time low.

I'm quite surprised though considering the length of chelseas season to see them do this.

On a side note ."the interim one" ******* love that haha

Have just had a thought and came to the point that Oscar has not had a proper break since joining us. I then thought to myself i wonder when he will get a full summer off, after doing so digging it looks like very busy schedule ahead for the lad and no full summer off until 2016!

Oscar's schedule:
January 2012 - July 2012: State Championships
July 2012 - August 2012: Olympics
August 2012 - May 2013: Season with Chelsea
June 2013 - July 2013: Confederations Cup
August 2013 - May 2014: Season with Chelsea
June 2014 - July 2014: World Cup
August 2014 - May 2015: Season with Chelsea
June 2015 - July 2015: Copa America
August 2015 - May 2016: Season with Chelsea

Now you see why Rafa/SAF et al believe in rotation so much? Especially in the younger players. Only "dinosaurs" like Ray Wilkins (much as I respect him, he is really out of date) believe you can just keep playing without any kind of physical/mental backlash.

Only one more game, then he's off to Napoli!

You must be one of those people who think wrestling is a for real.

Yeah if its done properly then it should be implemented for sure.

1. Doesn't make sense 2. I have no idea what you mean and 3. No wrestling is pure and utter bull ****

Dude, it doesn't even count as friendly, its a pretend game to put on a show for americans. Trying to look for genuine managerial mistakes is like buying blow-up doll and raging that she doesnt keep your bed warm at night.

So the Rafa reign has ended, just thought I will share a few rumors concerning the widely expected arrival of Jose Mourinho

Apparently Jose Mourinho will sign a 4 year contract by mid-June latest. Apparently he feels we need a central midfielder, striker and a centre-back if we want to challenge for that title next season. This is somewhat backed up by Rafa's quotes earlier that we are set to sign 3-4 players in a £100m spending spree subsidized somewhat by the expected departures of 4-5 players.

Apparently we are looking at signing a new back-up goalkeeper as well but not going to recall Courtois. Enquiry made for Lewandowski apparently even though he prefers a move to Bayern. Schurrle deal hanging in the balance as Leverkusen try and find a replacement with De Bruyne preferring a loan to Dortmund. I expect we will hear more news on this now that Dortmunds season has finished. And we apparently made an enquiry for Yilmaz from Turkey. A plan B I suppose...

So apparently Falcao is off to Monaco. Lewandowski dead set on Bayern. I suppose Cavani is still a possibility although it seems like City will get him. I do feel we need at least one top class centre-forward if we are to become a serious threat in the EPL title race again

As i said it doesn't matter what kind of game it was it was a football match none the less. You think it meant nothing to the likes of Blackman, Christensen and Loftus-Cheek?

You are seriously just nitpicking now...

If Lewa does go to Bayern, Gomez to Chelsea rumours will start to popup.

Its a game for financial reasons only, the game meant absolutely nothing... youngsters may have wanted to impress but playing a game this soon after the soon is for one reason only, Money.

Would still prefer Lewandowski over Gomez. I really doubt Dortmund would want to sell another one of their key players to their biggest rivals in one window even if it means forgoing a transfer fee when Lewandowski eventually leaves for free at the end of next season

I heard on SSN I believe that it was heavily hinted by Klopp that Bayern would be the team he moves to, I might have misheard, but I don't think so.
