They will take the 63m, and bring in 3-4 players, that's why. A swap deal doesnt have the same benefits. why take 40m euros and Torres, when you can get 63m and then buy Gomez for about 18m euros.

I can't believe we are not pushing for Lewandowski. Or is he eager to join Bayern?

I think he will be wearing a Chelsea shirt soon. I don't think he has any medical problems and for Chelsea personal terms shouldn't be a problem. I think it's safe to say goodbye to Victor Moses and Marko Marin now. Probably the most useless transfers ever.

Moses was a sensational buy and Jose will love him for sure. More likely that De Bruyne will play from deep as our deep lying playmaker. I feel for Marin as he never got a chance but my opinion on him when we signed him still sticks, he left Bremen 12 months too late. Should have left when Ozil left, when Ozil did leave Marin was rated higher than him and but Ozil got the step up he needed where as Marin didn't.

Moses is a good squad player to have. Annoyed me last season whenever he played well nobody noticed but whenever he put in a poor performance everyone started saying he is worse than Kalou and much more bullshit

Has been my point too, some of his performances before the AFCON was sensational but he seemed to have too much beer or something after winning it.

Moses wont be going anywhere. Quick, strong, direct, works hard. Classic Jose power player.

Bingo!

A few stats from last season about our new German Andre Schurrle compared with some of our players from last season. (League only)

Goals: 11 (Lampard had our most with 12)
Assists: 7 (Mata had our most with 12
Shots per game: 3.6, most in the Bundesliga (Demba Ba averaged 3.3)
Successful dribbles per game: 3.2 (Hazard had our most with 1.8)
Turnovers per game: 1.9 (Torres had our most with 1.9)
Key passes per game: 1.2 (Mata had our most with 2.7)
Accurate crosses per game: 0.5 (Mata had our most with 1.3)
Shot accuracy: 57% (Hazard had our highest with 60%)
Average pass completion: 79% (Mikel had our highest with 88.9%)

He had the most shots (122) and also missed the most clear cut chances (20) of all players in the Bundesliga last season.

Of 125 players with 10+ goals in Europe's top 5 leagues last season he had the 2nd worst conversion rate (9%).

Marin's ability was never the issue, his attitude was. Might have got a bit better now, but at Bremen it was awful. Ozil's diving aside, he has a great attitude towards the game as well as his style. That's why he has gone to new levels.

Worst conversion rate I believe has Iago Aspas.

I agree that was a factor but i also think both needed a step up to further their developments and Ozil got his, Marin also had a bad injury didn't he which wouldn't have helped.

He had mysterious, exotic sickness called lazyarsesitis.

Don't mock, it's really dangerous. Between that and his particular strain of No Passing Disorder (think Robben has that too?) he's a really ill man.

Been doing a little research on two players who could be our deep lying playmaker next season because we need one if we stick with 4-2-3-1. Now when we agreed a deal to sign Schurrle the other day in a deal which did not include De Bruyne and that with Jose's press conference as good as admitting he is ready i thought maybe De Bruyne will play that deeper role. When we agreed to sign him from Genk in January 2012 we allegedly asked Genk to play him in the deeper role and they can keep him for the rest of the 6 months. He also played majority of his football for Bremen last season in the deeper role. Now think what you like about him because he used to play for Spuds but Modric is arguably the best possible available deep lying playmaker so i thought lets compare lasts seasons stats.

Modric:
Goals - 3
Assists - 3
Key Passes per game - 1.7
Average Passes per game - 46.1%
Pass Completion - 88.7%
Tackles per game - 1.3
Interceptions per game - 1.4

De Bruyne:
Goals - 10
Assists - 9
Key passes per game - 2.6
Average passes per game - 46.7%
Pass completion - 76.8%
Tackles per game - 1.5
Interceptions per game - 1.1

Makes for pretty good reading doesn't it and the only thing he needs to work on is his pass completion but then again we have Mikel for that lol.

From what I saw of De Bruyne, he's the reason Bremen stayed up. JDY saw more of him that I did so he will give you a better idea, but he is a serious class act, would be great for your midfield. Personally don't see why you should spend on a playmaker when you have him.

Extremely high praise from Michael *** for Juan Mata whom he selected into his European Team of the Year. Courtois among the subs

Without him & Hunt they would've been relegated. He's also carried a Belgium team full of stars to the brink of WC qualification (IIRC he's been MOTM 7 times in their last 9 matches).

He is without a doubt ready for the Chelsea first team, but I'd imagine he'd start on the right of the band of 3 IF we persist with the 4-2-3-1. He's played just about everywhere for Bremen but mostly as a CM in 4-3-3/4-1-4-1, and plays on the right for Belgium.

Him and Oscar would be ideally suited to 4-3-3 with a holder like Illarramendi, but that won't happen with Mata around.

The problem then is what the **** do you do with Ramires?
