Yeah i got my girl the new kit the other day, haven't even got it myself!

Same mate 50 odd quid and that's just for a shirt so I think I will pass and wear older ones. The shop I was in sold a lot of old retro Chelsea shirts most around 20 quid so might purchase myself one of those they looked pretty nice.

According to De Laurentiis, at this point the only firm offer is from Real Madrid. I'll hazard a guess and say you've pulled out of the race completely, which, IMO, isn't a bad idea. Unless you somehow manage to offload Torres you'd end up having overbooking up front and a huge wage bill, not to mention the fact that Lukaku's chances would be rather limited with Cavani in front of him.

10 more years of Adidas btw.

Chief Executive Ron Gourlay said: 'We are delighted to extend our partnership until 2023 after a highly successful first seven seasons. Both organisations share the same ethos and ambition and the new deal reaffirms adidas' belief in the club's status in world football.'

Aye and it's rumoured to be £300 million over the next 10 years which is good money for a club our size that doesn't quite have th global appeal of a Liverpool or Manchester United yet. I assume we have a clause allowing us to renegotiate the deal 5 years down the line because committing for so long is just silly in today's market

Excellent news. Refreshing to see Mourinho putting faith in our talented youth players instead of relying on buying new players. Shows he is serious about staying for the next few seasons and help bring about the evolution of this team

We haven't pulled out of the race completely. We just informed Napoli that we will not go higher than €52m which was a firm offer. According to reports, Manchester City have also refused to meet the buy-out clause for Cavani and I have no idea if Madrid will meet it either. It will be a long transfer saga, that much is certain

I don't think we can afford to pull out of the race entirely tbh considering we need a top-class striker and there are really not many available outside of Cavani and Lewandowski who will not come. Higuan is not a bad option though, still time to hijack the Arsenal deal

Did anyone see Lukaku's post on Instagram the other day? This man is just absolutely destined to reach the highest level.

He really loves Chelsea which is great to see. Can remember a video of him at the bridge on a school trip when he was I think 16 and he told his teacher he would be playing at Stamford bridge one day and now that his dream has come true he is no doubt determined to become one of the worlds best strikers.

Yeah i remember seeing that video, he started saying one day i WILL play here. The thing is this is not arrogance this is belief.

Heh - most games played last season:

Oscar (Chelsea) – 78
Juan Mata (Chelsea) - 72
David Luiz (Chelsea) – 71
Eden Hazard (Chelsea) - 71
Branislav Ivanović (Chelsea) – 69
Fernando Tores (Chelsea) – 69
Ramires (Chelsea) – 69
Cristiano Ronaldo (Real) - 64
Blaise Matuidi (PSG) – 62
Luka Modrić (Real - 62
Andres Iniesta (Barcelona) – 61
Cesc Fabregas (Barcelona) – 61
Santi Cazorla (Arsenal) – 60
Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham) – 60
Mesut Oezil (Real) – 60

You know Chelsea had a crazy year when half of the squad is ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo in amount of games played. :P

Lol and people say Fabregas and Modric are not being used at Barca or Madrid...

Chris Cohen, who works for Chelsea TV, also said the deal is done. Plus the replacement Napoli are pursuing is Dries Mertins (sp) who is close to sealing a move to Napoli. If we get Cavani, I honestly feel we will have the best attack in the EPL

Carlo Ancelotti appointed Real Madrid manager. We are just bound to meet them in the champions league next season.
