Willian has nothing to do with MvG as he's been playing as a holding mid. Mourinho moved Mata from the middle just to accommodate Oscar, I think that says enough.
 
My bad I thought Van Ginkel was an attacking mid. It will be interesting to see how much Mata and Willian play. Can't see the need for him personally Mata was arguable your best player last season and he could be dropped to the bench.
 
Oscar is definitely not going anywhere at all. If it's anyone, it's probably Moses ... It honestly looks like it's a movie done more to spite Tottenham than anything. Sure out quality at attacking mid got upgraded but even then, I doubt we would have made this move had Spurs not been so close in getting him
 
Although its early days i just want to compare the difference from last season's Ramires to this season Ramires stat wise

Last season:----------------------------------This season:
Pass completion: 85.2%.--------------------This season: 93.2%
tackles per game: 3.2-----------------------This season: 4.5
key passes per game: 0.6------------------This season: 1
dribbles per game: 0.8---------------------This season: 1
average passes per game: 37-------------This season: 88.5
accurate long balls per game: 1.8---------This season: 5
accurate through balls per game: 0-------This season 0.5

Already a massive improvement in all key areas especially for a deep lying player. Keep it up Rammy!

I hope Lukaku gets to start tomorrow. Team just looks so much better with him on the pitch. I am guessing Schurrle will start as well due to his defensive diligence and work-rate along with Ramires

I'm now quite annoyed, because inevitably if Eto'o comes to Chelsea Jose will work his veteran player voodoo and make him slaughter the league and make me look stupid. Sigh.
 
If Eto'o comes, I really really hope we can find some way of offloading Torres or at least have him go on loan with part of his wages covered by the club that loans him. At Madrid anyone?

Every time people try to come up with a club that could possibly want to take on an ageing, declining, overpaid Torres they always come up with Atleti, but I really don't see it. They've got four strikers, one of whom is David Villa. They don't need him, and they sure as **** won't take Torres on just for nostalgia reasons.
 
Indications that we will likely look to offload Ba which is a shame. He definitely deserves more opportunities to prove himself
