Check Barcelona and Inter CL semi finals and then post this again with a straight face that Jose will not set up team like big Sam did. Chelsea are far superior to West Ham so they played with a game plan just like how Jose's Inter did against Barca with only 14% possession.

Before you post, I know Inter had 3-1 lead but I don't see any difference in how West Ham played and Inter played.

You are so wrong its laughable mate. There is a massive difference between "parking the bus" and playing counter attacking football breaking in numbers and committing numbers going forward. Yesterday West Ham had absolutely no plan to score a goal, when Carroll was on they smashed it high to him which he spent most of the time giving away free-kicks because he was wrestling Cahill and when Carlton Cole came on they played it to his feet and he held up play until he could lay it off to a fullback.

I am not knocking the way West Ham played, in my opinion there is more than one way to play football and they played to their strengths.

You quoted the wrong post then as against Barca, Inter didn't get our of their own half and Jose famously said we didn't need ball to play the game. Barca had 86% possession. If ever I saw parking the bus tactic, it was that game.

I'm not criticizing anyone before the same **** starts here, just that Jose's team have done same in the past.

One massive difference, Inter had a lead to protect. West Ham didn't. Only one team in years has actually gone to Barca and out played them and that was Bayern. Any other side who has tried has come away with -5 goals minimum.

Your also not looking at his full quotes, he said it was frustrating yes but congratulated them twice and said he didn't blame them.

76% - 24% - according to BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/8645184.stm At least get the stats right. We get it, you don't like Mourinho. He had won the first leg, he parked the bus, rightly so. He might even do that with Chelsea in CL, mind you. He'd say anything, without giving a [fun] about what media will say, to motivate his players. But to say Chelsea parked the bus against Arsenal IS WRONG.

The best way to play against a team who play possession football is, give them possession, don't fight for it, play on the counter. They'll look pointless with the ball.

Its hilarious honestly ... Mourinho actually said that he will not criticize Big Sam for the way he played because he would have done the same but Sunil decides that he will completely ignore that point and keep making statements as to how Mourinho once did the same with Inter and Porto

According to soccernet it's only 14%.

So I got it right.. Next..

I pointed out before itself, saying before anyone says about first leg.

So it took you 3 pages of intense discussion before you mentioned that it was a 'joke' ... Anyone can see what you are trying to do here. Jog on

Intense? Lol, It was fun to see you getting your knickers in twist..

Good for you ... Now can you please tell me what are you trying to say by citing these examples? Or are they all just part of the 'joke'?

What point one should make by posting a meme? Are you a kid or what.. oh wait..

It was fun watching you splutter and see your statements fly all over the place as well as you slowly jumped into the 'joke' shell :)

And whatever rocks your boat man..

Oh big Sam is a ******* legend.

Might be a kid but probably just as mature as you as far as this discussion is concerned ... You post a meme on the Chelsea thread to make fun of Jose when the quotes are clearly taken out of context. Once this is pointed out to you, you make some completely irrelevant statements in your pathetic attempt to try and salvage something from the discussion. Once that fails, you decide to cling onto Joel's coat tails and say it's was all a joke in the end. Now you go and somehow say it's my fault and try and relate it to my age and say how fun it was for you to see a kid rage. Winning

Mourinho is a hypocrite? yes, that's what he wants Media to say.

To whoever said He deployed same tactics against Arsenal and Man Utd, Chelsea played Counter-Attacking football against Arsenal. We had more scoring chances, they barely had a shot on target.

That is playing football, ah and you forgot the weather. Lampard hit underside of the bar, Willian fudged two counters 4v3 and 3v2. United game was early in the season and team wasn't gelled with Mourinho's tactics. Also he made the mistake of respecting the "champions".

Mourinho has played defensive tactics a lot, even with Real Madrid he played Counter-Attacking football. He's mostly played with minnows at the starting of his career, that's how a coach is formed with a mentality. He won UCL with frigging Porto and Inter.

I for one am okay with yesterday's game, we won UCL final with same tactic. Props to West Ham for defending bravely, Big Sam's a c*nt.

Btw why are Man Utd fans still around here digging Jose? knowing fully well he's a club icon, or are they still bitter over him? :wink wink: . Good luck with Moyes at the helm.

Do not quite me, thanks.

Last time, if you think Chelsea parked the bus against Arsenal, you might want to actually start watching the games.

Agreed. The thing everyone forgets about the games vs United and Arsenal is that they were both equally as cautious as us, especially Arsenal. They were the home teams, and they both to set out to not lose BUT try to nick the win when they could - like we did. I don't see how that is comparable to the way West Ham played.

And have I just really seen 'Are you a kid or what' from the guy that's spent the last 3 pages on this thread trolling.

Minnows? Are you high!? Apart from Leiria, he's managed some of the biggest clubs in their respective countries, if not Europe, which is even unheard for for ex-players. This isn't slagging him off, though.

And guys, please stop arguing, you've both made your points quite clear and clearly both are refusing to accept the other's points.

Hmm rumours going around that the arrival of Zouma would potentially mean the sale of Luiz in the summer. Bayern have always been linked with Luiz ... Wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to see if we can leverage that to possibly get Kroos. Long shot I know
