Huge blow because this was a season which he could have used to get used to the EPL before assuming a bigger role next season ... Let's hope he can hit the ground running when he returns

I'm a pessimist and think he will be out on loan next season, hope i'm wrong.

I rather not get tangled up in two competitions and end up winning none of them ... Will be ecstatic with a win obviously but don't mind a loss at all. A premiere league title and CL quarter-finals would be a very good season considering we have no striker and had no proper midfield until about a month ago

Think our chances of winning the CL are small so i would rather us go all out to win the FA Cup a competition which we love winning.

I hope not ... If Lampard leaves then we will need a replacement and it makes no sense splashing 20-30m on one when we already have a perfectly good young player ready to step in

Would take an EPL win any day though mate ... If we lose, City will be fighting on 4 fronts while we can direct all our efforts into the EPL like Liverpool are doing atm

Said that Jose was scared of failure, hence the reply.

Hope Wenger knows that no one actually takes him and his 'title challenge' seriously ... Hence, why Jose hasn't actually been saying much about him at all compared to the way he harps on about Pelligerini and City

I do get what your saying mate but i love winning the FA Cup lol.

If someone less successful told you "you're afraid to fail", would "you're one to talk" not be a natural reply? don't understand the fuss

Tweet from Raphael Honigstein ... Hits the nail on the head

Rapha has a bit of a secret crush on Jose though.

Why do you say that? He was arguably good enough this season before his injury, let's give the guy a chance before we write him off.

Oh, I want him to get his chance. Believe me. Let's see what Jose has to say.

Knew Jose would go full strength! Seems as if City are trying to pack the centre midfield today.

Poor performance today, i think credit to City as they learned from their mistakes from a couple of weeks ago. We helped them by coming down a level or 3 and that was always going to be a bad mixture. We have played quite a few games in a short period of time so this 6 day rest has come at a good time for me.

Although no-one was amazing i must say both Ramires and Luiz were very poor tonight and i say this yet again. Its so concerning we are relying on a 33 year old to make us tick defensively!

Not much else to say on the game really, City deserved the win no complaints about that but still ****** off the man who shouldn't even be playing got MOTM!

Only positive was the fans today, top marks to everyone who went exceptional support.

WOLUTB!

There were chelsea fans at the game?

Quite a lot IIRC. Why wouldn't there be away fans?

On the game, City were excellent and we were extremely poor. Allowed them too much time and space in the middle and they exploited that. Not really the ideal game for Mikel in that regard, couldn't get around the pitch and cover the spaces, but you can't really blame him as being aggressive and mobile isn't really him.

Shocking going forward, City did well to press our attackers and Cahill and Luiz look so dodgy as a partnership. Both made mistakes that could've easily led to goals.
