I saw this leaked him about 2 months ago too and thought it was fake but this has come up somewhere else now too.
 
Epic fail Jose. You can't expect the same performances from Eto'o from now on and you surely cannot expect Torres to score goals. Good luck with that.

That or it will motivate them to prove him wrong?? I don't think its the player anyway, we have not had a prolific striker since 2010 in the double winning season.

Yeah the angry response from Jose was to be expected. He's always been a manager for developing a strong team spirit... undermining it by slagging off one of his long time senior players, who is a hard worker on the pitch despite his age, isn't a good plan. Eto'o doesn't have anything to prove, he moved for a chance to play with Mourinho again, it's not how you expect him to be treated.

Eh ... He actually said that Eto'o was the only 'scorer' he had and the only negative remark he made about him was that he was '32'. He did disparage Torres and Ba though but in his defense, it was a private conversation with a non-footballing persona and he was speaking the truth anyways

So I guess Torres is upset now, what's new? At least we have some more excuses for him when he fails to score

Wrong. All of it was negative. ALL OF IT. Funny how he blames the media and defends himself (which is normal), cuz media didn't actually make that up. Those were his exact words. So, Media 1 - 0 Jose.

I'm curious what Eto'o and Torres have to say about all of it.

He previous has said openly that his strikers can't score. I think the issue is more about the joke about verification of age in Africa.

That joke I get. It's funny and I get it. But you can't slate your strikers in that manner and expect them to perform even better. I mean, COME THE **** ON.
