From what i heard from the totally un-biased commentary from Stan Collymore (that will be the day)

I remember that lol. Though I found this just as spectacular

Remember them both vividly.

club passion ftw

Eto'o playing incredibly so far. I wonder if recent comments and Drogba's return have made him want to remind people that there are two legendary strikers playing at the Bridge tonight...

excellent first half and just the response needed! just shows the mentality of this young squad. Azpi solid, Eto'o lively, Hazard murdering Eboue (ALOT) but Lampard has been the best player on the pitch by a mile.

And there's Torres watching and crying.

He's getting old. He was ropey for us in his final season, barring the big games where he was brilliant. I don't think anyone expected him to be especially good any more.

I watch him in Turkish Super League,he plays brilliant. In last year,he plays brilliant against Real Madrid when Galatasaray beat them.Drogba is amazing,he can play brilliant when he's getting old.But when he play against his old team, something happened to him.I can't say he cheated but every player have feelings,he has it too.His feelings can influence him, maybe that's the reason why he played not so good(he played not ''not so good'',he played like bullshit) .

Willian and Hazard were great tonight, really showed what pressure on the wings can do. Eto'o was fantastic too. Good performance all round, really, and Lampard's (good) performance showed why he should be used sparingly rather than constantly now.

Drogba is playing like bullshit.

Only so much he can do today.

Agree with everything but your missing praise for one player who was my MOTM, Azpi.

Very good response from the defeat at the weekend by the squad tonight. I think you always learn more about your team after a defeat and its encouraging that they can put a defeat and performance like Villa just 3 days ago to bed. I felt we were always in control from minute 1 and on another day would have scored 4 or 5 but we either picked the wrong ball or tried to walk the ball into the net, also Hazard needs to be a little more selfish at times.

On player performances i absolutely love Eto'o, when he signed we questioned it and all season we have just accepted that this is a 1 year thing. I'm starting to think otherwise, he's so intelligent with his runs, link up play and finishing ability that along with his enthusiasm for the fans and the way he celebrates when he scores right not i wouldn't be too disappointed to see him sign on for another year with us. There was an article on Eurosport today stating Koscielny and Mertesacker were the best centre back partnership in England, erm no not a chance! Its Cahill and JT hands down, they clear everything and have a brilliant understanding. Other pluses for me tonight was Hazard again and Lampard rolled back the years tonight. But for me the best player on the pitch was Azpilicueta, early on in the game Drogba thought "i'll get myself on Azpi because the other 3 are strong and physical" how wrong he was! Azpi right this moment for me is the first name on the team sheet, he has been the best left back in the Premier League this season which feels mad saying that. On a small negative i was disappointed with Ramires and at times Oscar tonight, for me we have to go with Matic and Luiz against Arsenal on Saturday.

UTC!

Drogba seemed overwhelmed by the occasion. Can't blame him though, Mourinho had a plan to isolate him and Wesley.

Hazard was his usual good, Oscar was better than he's been in recent matches, creatively especially.

Torres denied Hazard assist of the season for second time.

Azpi is ******* unreal. Seems like daylight robbery at 7M.

Eto'o has proved me wrong big time this season! I personally thought he would be lazy, score a couple of goals against smaller clubs this season before leaving in the summer earning a nice bit of money but he has come to life in the big games this season which we have missed from a striker since Didier left the club. I will be more then happy to see Eto'o stay on for another season.

He works really hard even at this age.

His link up and understanding with Hazard also gets the best out of Hazard. Even Eden himself spoke about this in an interview. Read it on Sky Sports.

I hope we destroy Arsenal on Saturday. I guess Jose will go for Matic + Lampard instead of Matic + Mikel.

He said that only partnership he considers equal to Kos & BFG is Terry & Cahill. Also basing it purely on stats by squawka you can see it as Koscielny is currently the highest ranked CB in Prem with Mertesacker 2nd.

Stats would also suggest that Chelsea defense has allowed least amount of shots on target in PL.

Szczesny(did I spell it right?) is having a great season, Cech has been good but not outstanding, this season.
