Stats would also suggest that Chelsea defense has allowed least amount of shots on target in PL.

Szczesny(did I spell it right?) is having a great season, Cech has been good but not outstanding, this season.

Yeah you did and he is except for some moments of madness.

Chelsea also have conceded less, but factors like that are more of effort of whole defence and not just CB's. He based his article purely on individual stats of all CB's where in almost every section Kos and BFG are ahead and that way managed to "prove" that our pairing is best.

I hope we destroy Arsenal on Saturday. I guess Jose will go for Matic + Lampard instead of Matic + Mikel.

I suspect/hope he will go with Matic-Luiz like he has done for most big games since January. 2 players who never played mid-week so should be fully fit.

He said that only partnership he considers equal to Kos & BFG is Terry & Cahill. Also basing it purely on stats by squawka you can see it as Koscielny is currently the highest ranked CB in Prem with Mertesacker 2nd.

I suspect they have faced more attacks/shots to make their stats look juicier. I just don't see JT and Cahill conceding 5 in any match.

I think Polish dude has been better this season but not way better than Cech, at times Cech this season has showed why he deserves another year as our number 1 and why its not such an easy decision for ditch him for Courtois.

That may be, but percentages tell the truth where amounts might be conceiving. Also your midfield is usually more defensive which makes it easier job for CB's. One game doesnt matter. It's quite rare for them to concede more than one in a game this season.

Comparing amounts of conceded goals is pointless, this is a team game people.

Cahill and Terry by themselves would spend entire season on the bench if they played in the same club as Kosc+Mertersacker. It just happens that Chelsea's fullbacks and holding midfield completely ***** on whatever Arsenal can send on the pitch.

Hazard's legs after Galatasaray game apparently. Ashley Young would have been under intensive care in the best hospital in UK if that happened to him.

Ashley Young would've rolled on the floor all the way to Timbuktu after the first challenge...

I pretty much would've agreed last season, Jose is first manager to not use Cahill as covering defender, which most do because of his pace. This covers up his tendency to back the **** up and cause us troubles.

Terry has transformed his game and relies more on his reading of the game, playing as covering defender despite his lack of pace. Don't think you can find a defender with that kind of reading of the game in England right now.

Of course my bias speaks very much but I find a lot of people overlook Terry as old fart playing because he's a Mourinho favorite. Cahill, I still haven't formed an opinion on his development this season, could be temporary run of form.

That fullbacks bit is, I'd say true but the mentality matters too.

In a team, I'd say Arsenal defense is better since they tend to attack much and their defense is more exposed than Chelsea's and less help from midfield as well.

And Cahill would actually start for City and Liverpool, even though it tells more about their defense than his ability, haha.

Coyle recently said in public that City offered 16M for Cahill the summer before he came to Chelsea because his deal was about to expire.

For leaving technical area no less.

Agbonlahor left from bench to grab Ramires by throat, that doesn't count, right?

It's kind of fair enough. His comments were clearly questioning the ref's competence and bias towards Chelsea, but he made them in an indirect way that meant he couldn't technically be charged. So they're going to play the same game and use a different technicality to ensure that he'll still be punished.

Lol, like it's going to stop him one bit. He is going to stand up for his players, regardless.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho charged by Football Association

But of course.

The FA might as well set up a direct debit to Chelsea's personal account, will save time and fuss. ******* joke! Never should have been sent off in the first place or if he did then so should have every person who stepped out of their technical area.

Can't see how people are defending Moruinho. He's an utter **** to everyone other than the plastic fans.

A few people went on the pitch as it kicked off. Lambert, as many have compared, went on to stop players from kicking off. Then as it all died down and the ref was sorting it something must've went through Monginhos mind and he thought he better run over for no reason at all shouting eya eya eya!

Plastic! Are you being serious! How embarrassing of you to say that!

Mourinho was on the pitch at the same time as Lambert, Agbonlahor (who grabbed Ramires round the neck), Holland and many many more. He asked the ref whilst on the pitch if he could have 5 seconds with him and he sent him off for "being on the pitch"! No-one is saying Jose is in the right here he shouldn't have been on the pitch but like Lambert and other playing staff he was on the pitch because he was protecting his players and stopping it from boiling over. But Jose done exactly the same as what others did so if Jose was to be punished then so should have everyone else who entered the pitch! How the **** does that make anyone "plastic"! I feel for you i really do.

Mourinho even ******* said why he went over there. He simply went to referee and asked why are you not taking action on these Villa players and coach coming in the pitch. He was not the first one to go over there.

Seriously, don't ******* comment and make yourself look utterly stupid if you don't watch games, Tezzzz
