Carl tbh its nothing to do with the premier league not working with you. Its Chelsea vs Liverpool. There is only one slot its getting as it will 100% be televised. And to be honest, yes you have injuries, but you are here, because you blew games you really shouldn't have. If you hadnt lost to sunderland he wouldnt be thinking it.
There is one thing prioritising competitions, then there is disrespecting another. Both Manchester City and Chelsea have chances of winning the title and City especially would be looking at the Chelsea game as a chance for Liverpool to drop points
Whether its relegation, mid table or going for the title all managers should respect the league and play a full strength side, or at least a competitive one

Both teams have very slim chances of winning the title compared to Liverpool and the reason they neither will win it won't be because of this fixture its because of dropped points elsewhere in the season and the club won't care who wins it between Liverpool and City. What people are not understanding is that we have not got much choice on who to play because of injury/unfitness. Chelsea will play a competitive one no doubt about that, but if you don't have one eye on a Champions League semi final 2nd leg which you have more chance of winning than the league then there is something wrong with you. I'm not even defending Jose here i am looking at the facts and seeing how many players we have out injured and un-available for the 2nd leg and building my own opinions which are the same opinions i had last night way before i even heard Jose's press conference about resting players Sunday.
