So Romelu, this is how it should have been. You come to Chelsea. Mourinho tells you that you're not ready for the first team. You don't sulk. You don't demand a loan. You don't act like an entitled *****. You work hard. You start to iron out your flaws. You take a modest approach and accept that you need to put in everything you have to be the best. You do what the boss asks you. You come back into the side. Slowly but surely you start to show your quality. A goal here, an assist there. By the end of the season, your talent is being recognised by the national team. You go off to the world cup. They don't start you. You don't *****. You dazzle every second you're on the pitch, you ride that wave of confidence that you've been building since the start of the season. Your club's manager believes in you. Your country's manager believes in you. Why? Because you've ******* earned every ounce of respect and become a better player for it. Now that you've got your chance to shine, you don't make excuses or demands: you just let your feet do the talking.

Why not start both on wings with Hazard behind Costa?

That kind of nullifies Hazard's best attributes which are his pace, acceleration and dribbling as well as his ability to beat a man. I'd much rather start Fabregas or Oscar there with Hazard and Willian/Schurrle on the wings. Obviously we can go with any combination but it's all for nought if Costa flops

Willian when we need width and defensive presence, Schurrle when we need a direct goal threat. Simples.

To be fair, Schurrle is a hard worker and offers a defensive presence too. Either of them can be used to shut down a flank

49m: Chelsea fans need to remember. This manager (Scolari) is the man who wanted to sell Drogba and replace him with Adriano #CFC

Also Matt Lewis claiming we upped our offer for Filipe Luis to £15m. Reckon we might go even higher if necessary. I would really love Filipe Luis. With him behind Hazard on the left and Azpilicueta on the right, we will finally have a legitimate attacking threat from our full-backs ... Something which we clearly missed last season

Of course, this only works if there is communication. There hasnt been since September. Also Schurrle was always down to be a regular, just had to wait for a Mata shaped hole to be fully clear.

Not entirely true. Schurrle had to compete against the likes of Hazard, Willian and Mata (later Salah) to earn his starting spot. In fact, you could say it was Lukaku who might have been a regular at Chelsea had he stayed because he only had to compete against Torres and Eto'o. Ba was going to be loaned or sold

To be fair that's the way Chelsea do things, they don't contact the player on a regular basis as they want him to feel as if he is the teams he is on loan at's player.

Nope we do contact the player on a regular basis telling him that we are watching him and what he can improve on etc. .... I have read interviews where Courtois said so

Easy to say in hindsight. Adriano at his peak was terrifyingly unplayable, better than Drogba at his peak IMO. Just so worked out that Adriano's dad died and sent him into a spiral, so his peak was sadly very short.

Right, he was not competing against Salah (im actually still not sure why you bought him but hey ho). He was up against Willian and Hazard, for 2 spots. Bit to different 3/4 for one spot. Ba wasnt getting loaned. You cancelled the only loan deal going (to arsenal)
