Chelsea strikers schedule 2014/15:
Costa - Premier League
Torres - Champions League
Lukaku - FA & Capital One Cup
Drogba - Arsenal home & away.

Drogba allegedly back at Chelsea! Arsene Wenger and Philippe Senderos must be the 2 unhappiest men in football right now!

Kenneth Omeruo has re-joined Boro on loan for another season, signed a new deal this summer with Chelsea too so big summer and massive season for the lad.

Seen a lot of Chelsea fans saying they don't want Drogba back because his last kick for the club was perfect but I look at it that the penalty kick will always remain as the greatest kick in Chelsea's history and him playing for the club again or not will never change that and that is what matters most.

Think Drogba is being brought back so he can become a coach one day. Also we have lost a lot of leadership in one window (Eg. Frank Lampard, Cole) so it would be good to have him back

Can't imagine Jose would want to go into season with just Costa, Lukaku, and 80 year old Drogba.

Cant see how that's any different from going into the season with Costa, Lukaku and a **** Torres

I don't think Drogba is any better than Torres. But Torres has just become such a polarizing figure at the club that I want him gone. It's exhausting how much the fan base is divided over him

Don't forget that Schurrle can play up top in a pinch. Fabregas has been moderately successfull as a False Nine as well ... This would honestly be a great transfer window if we replace Torres with Drogba

Do you have any gems in the youth team that could play in lesser games if one of those 3 get injured?

Not sure I would call it great.

Hmm but it wouldn't be beneficial to keep them at he a squad as 4th choice striker ... The likes of Bamford need game time if they want to continue their development

Its poor how some people are reacting to this! He is not coming back to be first choice and if both Lukaku and Torres stay then he will be 4th choice! Will be lucky to even get a capital one cup game and i'm not sure a game vs Crewe on a tuesday night is going to tarnish what he left with is it! There is more to this deal as i said i wouldn't even expect him to play, we lost some big personalities this summer in Cole, Lampard and even Luiz so that needs to be replaced. He could also work close with Lukaku and teach how how not to run his mouth off amung other things too lol.

Patrick Bamford the main one but probably will end up on loan, other than that 17 year old Dominic Solanke who was our top scorer (all levels) last season and is banging them in for England U17's too.

Because there isnt much great about swapping Torres for Drogba. Apart from wages.

Good for Lukaku mind.

Wages is actually a huge factor ... Torres has a huge impact in terms of FFP on our books. Taking him off would really put us in better shape financially for the next 2-3 years. Also don't discount the fact that Torres is a hugely polarizing figure whereas Drogba is a legend

You could say that to the player it may not be beneficial but to the club it would be to have the cover also when you consider these few things too, Costa may have a return of his glass hamstring and I would be utterly astounded if he didn't see a red card. Drogba won't last 90 minutes he couldn't do it for Ivory Coast so got no chance in the prem, then lukaku is a bit limited and can lose form at times so having a 4th choice youngster may not be a bad shout really all things considered

Chelsea are looking comfortable on that any way, so not as big a deal. Being a legend somewhat irrelevant, if its not all there on the pitch.
