Fabregas' pass was frightening to watch. Costa on form. Nice one Ivanovic, proving his worth in my fantasy team. ;)

The chelsea fans were singing about Stevie again. They're getting like the United fans!!

Every team in the Premier League will sing about Stevie G this season mate.

I really wonder what moves we are going to make in the transfer market in the next 2 weeks. Mourinho is sitting on a huge pile of cash that he probably won't be able to resist spending if the right player becomes available

Schurrle's goal reminded me of another beauty.

Took me some time to find it, because i forgot against who it was scored :D

Off topic but cant be bothered PMing you;

What do you think about Mackay?

Cautiously optimistic. I watched Cardiff a bit last season in the flesh, and they were doing pretty okay up until the point Mackay was sacked (16th, I believe they were) and the season before that I watched them down at the Cardiff City Stadium quite a lot. He's a bit of a Pulisball merchant which is fine by us, and suits us perfectly. He's young, talented, made some decent signings with Iain Moody (who he's being reunited with at Palace), doesn't stop us from going for Wilf and after Tan Steve Parish will be a doddle.

Think he's the best available. We've got as much a chance as anyone and Selhurst is going to be rocking every home game, so the lads will do their best, I'm sure.

Filthy.

John solano who is a Rome based reporter has said Roma reps are on a plane to London to negotiate the sale of Benatia to Chelsea and also to negotiate a purchase. Never heard of the reporter before so does anybody know how reliable he is?

Me neither, so I'm guessing laughably untrue.

A few people on twitter have said he has actually pretty reliable and there are also a few pictures of Roma reps at the airport but still you never know with twitter.

I have yet to see one 'picture of a rep arriving!!!!11eleven!!' actually turn out to be genuine.

Haha I'm hoping the rumour isn't true in all honestly. From what I have heard Benatia is a great defender but we really don't need him especially for big money if we are going to be spending big money on one more player this summer it should be a striker.

So a report in the Times that Roma are willing to take Fernando Torres on loan and offer Chelsea Mattia Destro to sweeten the deal.
It's a real pity that Roma aren't stupid sighs ...

Taking Torres off you and then adding Destro isn't so much sweetening the deal as just giving you a truckload of sugar. That would be a truly ridiculous deal.

I can't even being to imagine it ... I have been hurt too many times

Firstly Spurs offered them Soladado for Destro. Now Chelsea offer them Torres for him. Roma officials must be thinking the English clubs think they are mugs. They would be if they took any of those swap deals.

Oh you poor baby. Dry your eyes.

I want this transfer window to close ASAP. Can't take it any more with all these Torres leaving teases. Someone have mercy on us.

Next fixture Leicester City on 23/08/14 @15:00.

Last result at the Bridge vs Leicester City 18/03/2012: (FA Cup 6th round) Chelsea (Cahill, Kalou, Meireles, Torres x2) 5-2 (Beckford, Marshall) Leicester City.

Biggest win at the Bridge vs Leicester City: 25/10/1958: Chelsea 5-2 Leicester City.

Biggest ever defeat at the Bridge vs Leicester City 24/08/1960: Chelsea 1-3 Leicester City.
High scoring game vs Leicester City at the Bridge 31/10/2007: (League Cup 4th round) Chelsea (Lampard x3, Shevchenko) 4-3 (McAuley, Campbell, Cort) Leicester City.

Record at the Bridge vs Leicester City (all comps): Played-53, Won-37, Drawn-11, Lost-5, For-116, Against-52.

My stats of the game: It took Leicester 41 years until they picked up their first draw at Stamford Bridge (1905-1946) and 55 years (1905-1960) until they tasted a victory in SW6.

Tomorrow will be exactly 11 years ago (23/08/2003) since we last played Leicester City in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea winning that tie 2-1.
