Courtois really needs to work on his distribution. I get what we're trying to do, but this is a game that needs to be shut down, especially as they're starting well. Giving the ball away so cheaply is stupid.

We're getting better but I'm concerned by how vulnerable we looked when they came at us full throttle. Teams might only be able to sustain that level of pressure for 15 mins or so, but against big teams in the CL and against City that could easily be long enough to concede 2 goals.

You'll be playing differently against City, Arsenal, Liverpool and other teams. You'll sit back and defend and then you'll be major threat on CA. That's the right attitude considering Terry is still very good defender in the box. Cahill as well. I wouldn't be that worried. I would be worried against teams like Everton, Swansea and Tottenham, teams that can break defense, but they are willing to settle for a draw.

We'll definitely plat differently, but it's the lack of composure there that concerns me. They came at us full pace and we just gave the ball away again and again, instead of slowing things down and killing the danger.

It's not a huge issue at the moment, but it is definitely something we need to work on.
 
So this is what playing with 11 players feels like ha? Holy ****. Cesc and Costa are just next level.
 
Diego Costa has now scored more Premier League goals (6) this season than Fernando Torres (5) managed all last term.
 
I seem to be saying it after every game but Costa and Fabregas were such obvious yet genius signings...

But yeah, do you see exactly what Torres had to do and didn't? Costa seeks the ball like a predator seeks its victim. Yeah. This is a striker right here fellas. It's like... a new feeling for me. **** you Torres for letting me forget what a team with a proper striker looks like.

And boy, am I the happiest man around when seeing Roman being the happiest man at the Bridge.
 
Costa is such a brilliant player. Or maybe I just forgot what it feels like to have a proper striker up front. And we got another one on the bench as well. Pants off lads!!!

And they came very cheap for the quality players that they are mate. Fabregas especially. Absolute steal at £27m for one of the best midfielders in the world

Completely agree. I was amazed both players were signed so easily actually

Makes me slightly more depressed to the fact Liverpool nearly signed Cost last summer!
