Would be the end of my boy Mikel though![]()
Pogba is one of the best young players in the world. and is the best young midfielder in the world.
I'm stunned that anyone thinks he hasnt shown this, or shown consistency.
But what specifically has he done which has been so good?
To say he's this and that is one thing but what is the actual evidence other than what he may be capable of doing?
People saying he's better than Vidal or Marchisio is just not true, Vidal hasn't even been in good form or had any consistency to his game for the last 9-12 months due to the injury he picked up before world cup.
Marchisio is a different kind of player to Pogba so it's hard to compare them.
I (and in this case Mike.) watch him pretty regularly. What do you want me to say? You want me to quote figures, or what?
Do you even watch Serie A? I'm serious. I'm just curious because you say Pogba's not better than Marchisio despite him being played ahead of Marchisio practically every time. Pogba made more appearances than ANYONE in Juve's squad last season. More than Buffon, more than Pirlo, more than TEVEZ. He's simply better than Marchisio in pretty much every measurable metric: goals, assists, tackles, whatever.
As for Vidal, if you're off form for an ENTIRE YEAR then perhaps your knee injury might be a bit more than just temporary. Quite apart from that, it makes your argument earlier about Pogba being inconsistent ******* LAUGHABLE.
Box to box goalscoring central midfielders with an attacking slant but excellent defensive skills to complement it? Practically universes apart m8
But people keep saying he is the best (young player) in the world yet you keep comparing him to ageing players in the Juventus squad or injury-suffered partygoers like Vidal.
Not this season but I watched Juventus quite frequently last season and I never saw anything from Pogba which consistently made me think he was performing to the level which everyone seems to be making out.

Marco Veratti is really good, yeh he's playing in the mickey mouse league but right now Serie A isn't much better.
He has all the tools to be a great player like I mentioned, I just have doubts over whether he will be truely what he can be capable of due to his ego/attitude.
Verratti isn't even close.
You keep saying this, but you've yet to actually cite an example where his ego or attitude has negative impacted on his performance on the pitch.
Why? It's so easy to go "he's not close" "no he isn't either" just by looking at the two players you would assume Pogba is better but what actually has highlighted it on the pitch?
No I don't have an example with a gif/vine to highlight his attitude effecting a decision he makes on the pitch this second, no. But it is evident.
Last season Pogba had more goals, assists, tackles, key passes, successful dribbles, was dribbled by the opposition less often, made more clearances, won more aerial duels and blocked more passes. Essentially he buttfucked Verratti in every way possible other than pass accuracy, which is pretty much Verratti's thing.
So you call me out for not providing evidence and then respond by not providing evidence. Too easy bro. Fact is, much as you'd like him to have shown massive signs of problems, Pogba's showed nothing other than a desire to prove himself and get better as a player since he's arrived in Italy.
I have heard from someone today that the Khedira deal is as good as done so maybe him. But surely won't cost must as only will have 6 months left on his contract by January won't he?
i dont want to and all that and laying goals on for the monster that is costa for the love of god noImagine midfield options of Pogba, Fabregas, Matic, Ramires and Khedeira. Oh lord have mercy ...

I'm not saying Veratti is better, infact I've already said previously that Pogba is the brightest CM there is for his age but the point that I'm making is I don't think his attitude is going to make him become as great as everyone thinks.
Despite what anyone says you could still fit his ego inside a mansion with little room to spare.
Weirdly enough that would make Chelsea's defence. Y far and away the weakest area of the team. How times change!
You couldn't fit Zlatan's ego in any mansion. Nor Ronaldo's. Nor Maradona's. Having a ridiculous amount of self confidence and a touch of arrogance is almost a prerequisite for reaching the top. As I said, you've yet to come up with a good example of his attitude actually impinging in his performances negatively. In fact, that arrogance has given him a chip on his shoulder, because he's been so determined to prove the doubters wrong. It's made him a monster.
