Some rumours essien has contracted Ebola. Really hope this is just some idiot spreading false rumours but if true I really wish the bison all the best

And essien has confirmed it is in fact just a stupid rumour. I really don't get what some people get out of spreading sick lies like this.

Next fixture Crystal Palace ( A ) on 18/10/14 @15:00.

Our last result at Palace 29/03/2013: Crystal Palace (Terry og) 1-0 Chelsea.

Our last win at Palace 24/08/2004: Crystal Palace 0-2 (Drogba, Tiago) Chelsea.

Our biggest win away at Palace 27/12/1969: Crystal Palace 1-5 (Peter Houseman, Peter Osgood x4) Chelsea.

Our biggest ever defeat at Palace 18/11/1905: Crystal Palace (Astley, Harker, Innerd, Roberts, Watkins x3) 7-1 (Francis O'Hara) Chelsea.

Our record away vs Crystal Palace (all comps): Played-24, Won-10, Drawn-7, Lost-7, For-33, Against-28.

My stats of the game:Chelsea's defeat at Selhurst Park last season is our only defeat vs a London side in the last 15 (W-10, D-4, L-1).

Chelsea have not lost back to back games against Crystal Palace since 1982.

holy ******* ****. That goal....

Good game, good result, and a nasty challenge by Azpilicueta.
Don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that he doesn't play that often, but Filipe looks a bit rusty. Azpilicueta is better defensively.
And **** that final goal, was hoping to see Solanke play a few minutes too.

Seen the game/highlights a few times now as my stream on Saturday was s**t and despite the close scoreline i felt it did not reflect the game. First of all i'd like to take issue with Warnock, he was unhappy Delaney got booked for a tackle kind of like the one Terry made just before. Agreed the tackles were alike, but what he failed to realise because he is a small time manager that not only was Delaney booked for dissent not the tackle it was his 2nd offence as he was the one who took out Willian for Oscar's free-kick! On that what a brilliant free-kick it was, shades of his one vs Stoke last season in the FA Cup for sure, lets hope for many more of them.

On the Azpi red card i saw it happen live and i felt it was harsh but never saw a replay because my stream died at that moment. After looking back i don't think we can have any arguments, it will be shame to lose him for Man Utd next week but what better replacement than last season best left back in world football in Luis! I think we were a little lucky Delaney leveled up the teams not long after but, although he never scored Remy forced them two yellows out of him so praise for that.

There was a 15-20 minute spell in the 2nd half just after we scored our 2nd which by the way was absolutely sensational, the 2nd goal like that we have scored this season quick introvert passing at pace cooly finished off by Fabregas. As i was saying the 15-20minutes after that we absolutely bossed the game, we dictated the tempo of the game keeping hold of the ball for fun and that is something we are not used to seeing Chelsea doing. This team is so versatile in its styles of play now can everyone see why Jose needed a year to build this!

I will say although i felt Matic was outstanding i felt Fabregas was my man of the match, had his first ruck in a Chelsea shirt protecting his team mates, had the most touches with 138, scored a brilliant goal and topped that off with a knee slide celebration in front of our excellent away support.

I'll leave with this, i thought we would be f****d without Costa???

UTC!!!!!

Hope Ramires gets fit, he could be crucial against United next weekend

Next fixture NK Maribor ( H ) on 21/10/14 @19:45 on ITV.

Our record in Champions League match day 3 games: Played-12, Won-11, Drawn-0, Lost-1, For-28, Against-3.

My stats of the game: Chelsea have never played a side from Slovenia (hence the small post)

Maribor are coming into this game off the back of a 2-1 home defeat and only 1 win in their last 5 matches (all comps).

Struggled for this game i'll be honest, apologies!!!

Not sure about you but I'm a little worried we don't have Azpi. Luis seems like he's not ready or something... or maybe Azpi is just too good..

Luis has been very good when he has played so far mate. Or maybe it's just me

I watched Luis for the 1st time at Sporting and i thought to myself "this lad is ******* decent". But then when i thought about it after the game i thought hold on a second, this is no kid, this was the best left back in the world last season so why wouldn't he be good! I have no worries, i love Azpi but Luis will come in a do a good job no doubt. Just hope/think we should play Ramires on Sunday to chase Di Maria around for 90 minutes!

Match seemed about right. McJedley did pretty well against the Chelsea midfield three, and most of the battle was on the flanks. Chelsea won, which was par for the course, without looking entirely convincing, but these are the wins you need to make a title challenge.

what he failed to realise because he is a small time manager

No, what's 'small time' is having to use that phrase to attempt to defend your club, especially when that's exactly the kind of **** Mourinho would come out with.

Colin ****** is undoubtedly a ******, but if you don't keep your mouth shut with stupid little jibes like that you'll find all the Palace fans who would normally agree with you - and there are a lot. We're realistic, unlike Chelsea fans because we're not small time, amirite? - will just call you a **** instead. Deservedly, too.
